Full and complete teardown of the Vizio V21-H8 Soundbar. During the disassembly of this 36" sound bar, I noticed that removing the front grill was difficult so I cut open the grill and realized a putty knife is perfect for undoing the clips. I have a small one and need to shield the speakers but it has the metal mesh grill.

So the cloth covered grill us held in place with just clips? Got a hold of a similar sound bar, but not as long. The AC plug - in port is pushed in the mounting area. Also, can the speakers be upgraded? Thanks for the cool music! And the good closeups of the PCBs!

You wouldn’t want to upgrade the speakers because they are likely specifically designed for that enclosure. Also, I think VIZIO already uses some of the best high db speakers so there wouldn’t be much of a difference with an upgrade, if any.
