When Southern Columbia wrote “Whip Westinghouse” they also wrote on their banner, “A southern State of Mind.” That pretty much tells you their intent. That’s indefensible. We all know why the Civil War was fought and slavery in the South was part of the reason. Go look at the picture of “Whipped Peter” for proof. It’s amazing how people ignore the basic common sense facts and try to justify something that’s morally corrupt.

If this video is from the football team, and it probably is, then you have another example of how these rich white communities look down on people who are poor or are African Americans. If this video isn’t from the football team and is instead from the community of people who live in that area, then this is reflection of the racism that exists there. Here's an idea: if you want to shoot fire videos, don't go stand behind the other spectators. Your viewers are probably not all that interested in their backsides and balding pates.
Here's an even better idea, on a pre arrival video stay out of the danger zone and out of the way on incoming fire units. This was a very hot, intense fire. People on the other side of the street received steam burns from the initial hit that were way too close.

These are old coal mining towns and these homes were built to house as may mining families as they could. These row homes are very common in the northeast PA region. Built also long before stringent building codes.
I can’t imagine how towns/cities ever allowed attached wood frame homes to be built. They were a fire hazard way back when built and obviously still are today. Besides which, who would ever want to live in a house like that to begin with…..has zero curb appeal.
