A crash in the village occurred during rush house (445pm) at the intersection of S. Hickory Street and East Valley Ave (State Route 487). A Honda CRV struck a Toyota Tundra in T Bone collision according to Ralpho Township Brandon Cohick. Both vehicles involved along with a PPL utility pole sustained severe damage. The Honda was driven by a Female driver and had her child with her, they where transported by a personally owned vehicle to a local hospital. The Toyota Tundra driver was a male who was entrapped for a short period of time until he was freed by the rescue personal Elysburg fire department. He was treated at the scene and refused transport to a local hospital.
The roadway was closed for an hour as cleanup occurred. #elysburglive
