One thing I don’t hear anyone mention is how damn good the rock work looks on the outside? If you know anything about making maps in the hammer editor you’ll know that the only real viable way to make things look natural is with displacements, and if you know anything about making maps in goldsrc is that you don’t have that.(it’s my personal opinion that that’s why they chose a very rocky and cliffy place like New Mexico for black Mesa so they could get away with making a ton of glorified walls of rock.) but it’s looks so good in this mod if genuinely looks like it was from the source engine.
