Hi you two, question please, if you know. My wife and I like to scuba dive, but we prefer beach dives, not on the boats. Which is the best Sandals resort on St. Lucia for that? Thanks much!
We are Sandals Emerald members and always do club mobay when traveling to Jamaica; however, we normally just go straight to sandals lounge on arrival vs mobay lounge, and only use the Mobay lounge for departure. How does that work with transportation? Normally the bus is waiting as soon as you get to the sandals lounge…
Do people adhere to dress code in evenings at restaurant or are shorts worn. Also we are staying in a paradise beachfront grande luxe club level room not ground level. What room number has the best view? Thanks in advance.
Who is the transportation company that you used? Because I am going there in a couple of weeks and would like to book transportation from the hotel when I arrive and then from the resort back to the hotel on my departing day. Thank you.
Hi, I wanted to ask if it's safe to travel here? I was thinking about taking my wife here at this resort and she's a little bit concerned about it. Thank you
I can't imagine the horror at night -,-' I mean what about the mosquitos?!!!! And also at noon, I can't imagine the H.E.A.T. I live in Indonesia, I know what I'm talking about. Even at nightitme here, you will want to get naked outdoor because of the heat! Btw there's hardly any guests there... I think I know why... It's beyond expensive. Not many of us can afford it even if we want to.
Hi, thanks for sharing this video. We plan to go to this resort in the summer. Do we need to make reservations a few weeks ahead for dinner or can you reserve when you are there? Also do you recommend to tip daily or tip everything at end of the trip? Lastly should we book excursions now or wait till we're there?
What month did you guys take this trip? I am worried about booking and having terrible weather, but it looks perfect in this video. I know there is always a chance, but I've heard some months are much higher in chance.
I need a recommendation for a resort Xcaret Mexico style. If I want burgers, steaks, or Asian food I can grab it anywhere in the US. Xcaret Mexico is great for their Mexican cuisine but I have to pay $$$.
Depends on a lot of factors as to what you’re specifically looking for/ care about in your trip. Both are great resorts but offer something alittle different to each traveler. We just did a podcast on comparing these two exact resorts.
Great video you guys. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem wirh me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much, Steve S
They do have elevators and the resort is very walkable. Considering knee issues I’d imagine they could accommodate you with a golf cart, definitely have your travel agent coordinate that prior to booking.
I love your Carolina Tee Shirt. My cousin's daughter graduated from USC in 2023. & their son is currently a Freshman there in the Sports Management Program. Congratulations to Dawn Staley & The Lady Gamecocks & all Gamescock's Nation on winning the 2023-2024 Women's Basketball National Championship. Go Cocks!
We were their in March of 2023. Loved that both Resorts are right next to each other. We stayed at Royal Barbados in a Swim Up Club Level Room & just loved it. We arrived and the first two days the beach & water were great. On day three onward we had the Seaweed Bloom that hit that side of the island & it was 2 feet deep on the beach & in the water. Could not swim in the ocean. Hopefully a year later it is gone.
Congratulations on your 10th Wedding Anniversary; I am sorry that you could not have your Candlelight Dinner on the beach. For our 25th Wedding Anniversary (8 years ago) we stayed at Sandals Grande St Lucian and we splurged and had a Candlelight Dinner on the Beach. We took off our shoes and it was so relaxing and the meal was delicious. I have a lot of food allergies and they were so accommodating. I hope you will be able to get to experience it one day soon. I love you videos and we love the Sandals Product. We have done Jamaica in 1999 and we did a split stay 6 nights at each resort. We stayed at Ocho Rios (now OCHI and Dunn's River Falls (before they sold it and now reacquired it) and St Lucia (stayed at on and played at 3) and last year we stayed at Sandals Royal Barbados. It was suppose to be for our 30th Wedding Anniversary but Covid-19 interfered. We delayed it for 2 1/2 years and it was worth the wait. Husband has a compromised immune system. so it was not safe for him to travel during that time. We watched lots of travel videos and dreamed of traveling. We really love the new dining concepts at the new resorts. The food looks delicious. I wanted to be able to reach thru the computer and have a bite. Even with all my food allergies I love that Sandals always creates meals for me with no issues. They are really great with people have dietary restrictions. I would love to visit Curacao some day. i am not a lover of desert heat though. Was it rally hot.? We live in Colorado and we are considered semi arid. In 1 1/2 years we will be married 35 years and are just starting to talk about what Sandals Resort we want to visit next. Which one is your favorite? Our so far is Sandals Grande St Lucian. I loved how calm the water is because it is in a cove. My husband isn't a swimmer but he loved just floating in the water. I like the look of the new resort that just opened in Saint Vincent. It looks beautiful. Do you have plans to visit the newest one some time soon? If so I will look forward to watching your video's or and pod casts. Thank you for all your great videos, I really appreciate it.
Wow! We were married here in 2011- looks like a totally different place! Gorgeous! We stayed down on the end in a butler suite- I can't remember the name of the building, but we loved our room. Would love to go back, but Sandals prices are rough these days when there are so many other places out there with overall better value- but- maybe sometime! That beach certainly does give a higher value to this particular property. Janet- love the sunglasses you had on when you were all heading to the spa!!!
@@PenyakTravel Well that sounds like a good sign if you’ve been there a few times and plan on going back! I know there is a lot of mixed reviews on this resort from what I’ve read. But figured I’ll take it with a grain of salt and make my own review and give it a shot! I’m easy to please, a beach area, all you can eat and drink i am good haha
Thanks for the video. We’ve stopped at Negril (on a tour) but never stayed there. It looks much different now and definitely a place I’d love to go. Love the beach.
Both LeBlancs at Cabo and Cancun are nice. The Cabo is better but both have amazing pizza and service. Wake up early at both and reserve seats at the pool.
