Hi! PLEASE SUGGEST on if it is better for a Indian student to live in JERSSEY CITY? I am planning to live in JERSEY CITY and COMMUTE Manhattan to attend University. Is it safe and cost friendly to rent a share student accommodation in Jersey city?
Safe yes, cost friendly, also yes. Travelling to Manhattan is a little annoying if you don't pick a good spot to stay (away from public transit or bus stops). I'd definitely suggest living in JC if your commute is to Manhattan.
Hii, this is rushi. I have applied for USA student visa and got admit in CSU, ohio.well i completed my bachelor's in aeronautical engineering in 202 and then i worked as recruiter for 8 months and left the job in dec 2022, because I am heading for spring 2023but unfortunately i didn't get the slot so i defer to may and still waiting for slot. My question is that I am coming to usa for ms in mechanical which related to my bachelor's but the work experience is not related and i am under confusion to tell the vo about the job or to avoid it? Kindly help me with that.
Sorry for the (very) late response. Just now seeing this. Your job experience shouldn't really impact the interview because your degree is still in the same field.
Those two are very different from each other. Do you want a desk/corporate job or want to join the film industry in some capacity? You'll have your answer according to whatever you pick.
This was a fantastic video man! I'm currently getting ready to move to Jersey City, and I have absolutely loved what I've seen so far. I am totally ok with being just outside the city, and I love the slightly slower pace and peaceful vibes Jersey City has. I'll eventually try to move into either Brooklyn or Queens eventually, but Jersey City is great for where I'm at currently in my life. Thanks for the video!

Touching on the rent because it seams to be misleading. Manhattan studio- 1br can range from 2300 and up, The same with Brooklyn although if you look you can find descent 1brs for 1800-1900. When you live with roomates you split the rent so that's why he pay's 500 and something. Landlords are raising rents all over NYC so it may not be the best option to move here atm.

Jersey City is comparatively medium range for expenses. Harrison/Newark is a cheaper area to live in. Tuition fees through any kind of part time job is tough. Loan is very necessary if you have to pay tuition.
Hello sir.. I just got rejected yesterday from Mumbai Consulate because I have failed to convince him why I choose this University...So when can I book my next slot what's the duration of time to book another slot after rejection. Mine intake was Summer intake.. But their is headlines over the Indiatimes that spring and Summer intake Students who got rejected in 2022 cannot reapply for next interview slots till end of 2022.. Hey. I don't think it works that way, if you get an interview you can definitely give an interview again. If your University allows it, it should be fine. Do apply again (keeping in mind that you can make it to your University before your course starts). All the best!
Does refusal after RFE on application peititon considered as visa rejection or only once an interview is not cleared at the embassy/consulate?? Also is there any refusal stamp marked on passport after US visa refusal??
Good Day, Advait the video you’ve posted was indeed helpful cuz I’ve got rejected a month ago from J1 summer work and travel program I still not sure that what exactly was the reason of my rejection, but according to my thoughts I was a bit nervous, not giving enough and proper response to the consular. And now I have accepted to the St Louis MO Webster University and recently i got my I-20 form planning to apply F-1 visa soon what will be your suggestions and feedbacks on that please list them all I’ll be glad thank you beforehand.
Umm. Can't really give an average as such but, groceries cost about $100-120 for the whole month. Eating outside can cost anywhere between $8-15 per meal. If there are any offers, then it get you two meals for the same price. Hope that helps!

I would recommend asking someone from a consultancy or a counsellor to help you book your dates for the interview. That's how I got mine. If not, keep checking everyday if there are dates available. All the best!

Whatever you have said during the first interview, say the same thing, because they have a transcript of your previous interview and they have it in front of them for your second one
