I've never seen anyone play a drunk as accurately and as hilarious as Gregor Fisher. Wonderful to see Rab's appearance (and he actually appears sober!).
*"Allo, you there Gavin, that old street jive just comes flooding back to you doesn't it"" Dougie cuts through the crap, and sarcastically calls out the transparent huckster for what he is. Love it!
I love that you can see them through all the decades, young boys in the 30's, teenagers in the 40's, teddy boys in the 50's, mods in the 60's, then 70's and 80's before them now
This is from the first episode "Work", you see Rab walking past the bus stop talking about his latest bender. Then he goes home and Mary Doll isn't exactly pleased.
Thats because you threatened her. When someone tells you to “Beat it” in and around Glasgow they are not simply saying go away they are also implying if you don’t leave there will be consequences
@@shieldsyxbeat it just means go away. Not being from Glasgow she thought I was looking down at her by laughing at her and her fellow Glaswegians. The opposite is in fact true. I love Glaswegians.
The best, rab c banter is amazing made me laugh all the time, i love doing rab c s voice and James cotter voice, watch every episode over and over rab c amazing Glasgow banter
