Hey Eric, been following all your Firebird videos for sometime now. It’s great to see the car running again after all the hard work and effort you put into making those videos. Thank you.
I'm missing a relay on the left passenger side what is this to you I just replaced the fuel pump the thing would start with putting starter fluid in the intake I change the fuel pump out and now it won't start but you hear everything come on the relays on the right side driver side make a switching sound and then like a tick sound and there is gas going to the motor
Thank you. This happened to my 2005 Tahoe. Went through 2 starters and they were getting ready to put yet another starter on when I insisted they checked the flywheel.
For those still working on these, those plastic fasteners on the cowl that holds the top panel with squirters, leak so first silicone them, then look for the fasteners under the cowl holding the sound panel, one is above the brake booster the other is right behind the cabin air duct. Pop them out and under the sound oanel youll see twon plastic body plugs, pop them out and reinstall the fasteners to the sound panel. Done. Theres a channel there that fills with water and once it reaches a certain level it pours into the pcm.
Hi. My car is the same year and engine with manual. Maybe you can shed some light on what could be the problem. In the beginning the car would hesitate while accelerating and if I was hard on the throttle it started bucking but it ran fine and it was reliable if I was gentle with it. Recently it got really bad. For the first few minutes it runs ok but after that it can stall when I stop at a red light and it's hard to restart the engine. It's also almost impossible to accelerate because it shakes so badly when I press the throttle but when I get up to speed and I keep it above like 4000-4500 rpm I can floor it and the shaking is almost nonexistent. When I cruise at a constant speed it stutters sometimes. I think I even heard it backfire when I got going. Do you have any idea what could be the culprit?
They are bright! I think it's frustrating if you have to replace or adjust, the pop up headlights assembly. It's a mess between different bolts an movements. Also when the gear's strip eventually on them.
I replaced the spider injectors on my 98 Silverado 5.7 about 7 yrs ago. After I put it back together, I had the same problem. As I was taking it back apart, I also noticed one of those prongs were bent. After straightening it out and putting everything back together, it fixed it... I guess initially, I got in a hurry and bent it when I first put it back together. Learned to slow down.

I have a 98 Chevy Silverado 3500 5.7 Engine, I have changed plugs , wires, and distributor cab and button and still can’t figure out the misfire please help
Thank you!! Just finished replacing spider injector on 1999 suburban . Code p0301 for cylinder 1 misfire came up . Took off the connection for injectors and sure enough I bent a pin.
Hey Eric, I've got a '90 camaro rs with a 3.1l that starts easily when cold. It runs and drives fine, it fires right up if i shut it off, then back on again, but i get a crank, no start if it sits for 15 minutes or so (like a store run). Do you have any idea what it could be? Over the last year or two I've replaced the coolant temp sensor, oil pressure sensor, throttle position sensor, fuel tank, pump and sending unit, distribution, cap and rotor. My goal is to make it my daily driver, but I can't figure this out.
Was this a video on safety or how to get the wheel bearing repair because he just skipped over how in the world to get the wheel bearing out but he sure did give a lot of safety tips on the brake dust
