Hunter did a fantastic job... love seeing kids cooking, gives me more confidence that I might actually get it right too lol. This dish reminds me of the Lemon Delicious pudding my mum made when I was a kid. I remember it was like a layer of lemon sponge type cake and the sauce underneath. There are a couple of items used during this, the brush type utensil (double ended) Hunter used to brush off the thermie and the wooden thing used to juice the lemon that I'd like the name of and where you bought them please?
The brush is from the MixShop: thermomix.com.au/products/double-head-sweeper-cleaning-brush. The juicer or citrus reamer can be found in some supermarkets, but if you struggle to find them there, you can find them in homewares stores.
I don't have that type of pan to cook them in on the stove so what would I use instead? I have muffin type trays but they go in the oven. I have frypans for on the stove but they would turn out more like pikelets. Could the batter be made the night before or would I also cook them and just reheat the next day?
Have you had chance to look at the post Trina? There are some ideas in there. I would give them a go in a frypan; the shape would be different, but the flavour would be different to pikelets.

I guess it depends on what you're trying to achieve. I love useing my TM6 + air fryer or TM6 + oven when the kids are home. I can quickly and easily serve 8 (6 adults and 2 kids) this way. I don't believe you have to cook every meal in your Thermomix but it's brilliant for things that you want to cook hands free.
We're all excited for the day they announce a TM7. But they keep updating the TM6, so I have no complaints. Love the technology that's gone into this. I do have to wonder what a TM7 could possibly do.
Great to catch up again with you Bec, I prefer seeing you here on RU-vid, thanks so much for the slow cooking ebook and all the hints and advice using the TM6 😊
I don't think I would freeze this sort if stir fry. It's much nicer if you can do it fresh. However you could have things chopped in the fridge ready to go when you get home from work. As I have the ingredients ready at the side of my TM6.
Thank you for posting. I just got a ninja creami and I haven't unboxed it yet because I read a few comments that it doesn't make creamy ice cream. I was a little disappointed but your video has given me hope. Would you mind sharing your ice cream recipe?
Sure thing, All the links are in the description above, but here's a link to the eBook I've made: store.becs-table.com.au/ice-cream-for-everyone. If you have an Aussie Cookidoo account, here's the one I've been making a lot. It makes 4 tubs of No-Egg ice cream base. cookidoo.com.au/created-recipes/public/recipes/en-AU/01HMME1AMRR23Q65J447PB4JDW
Oh Shelley, I think it's pretty robust. I might have to do a zoom on it. I'll record it and pop it in the Inner Circle so you can watch it when ever you like.
Great presentation Bec. I volunteer at Second Bite on Western Australia who also distribute unwanted or over supply of foods to the needy. A great cause.
This sounds like an awesome option but how can you time your meal right if you don’t know how long the sauce will take? Once it starts cooking does a time show?
I just bought a TM6. Neither this recipe on Cookidoo or the High Heat Function are present. What might be going on? I've completed the software updates and signed up to Cookidoo.
There’s usually a country filter on if certain recipies aren’t showing for you. Try taking off all the filters and when you find the recipe, add it as a favourite and the re-apply any country filters you want showing in Cookidoo.
They came out beautiful. First time I saw the humble godamba roti made using a thermomix 😊 In Sri Lankan eateries, the dough balls are left to relax in a shallow baking tray with about half an inch of oi.
Looks great--loved my grand ma's beef wellington when I was a kid! Going to try this with some seitan as I have learned I have a family history of Cancer so I need to avoid the BLV, igf-1 and pesticides in meat. Thank you for sharing
