I forgot how effective UT's defense was in that game. No big runs by Mixon/Perrine, no deep shots over the top to Shep or Westbrook. Good win for OU. BOOMER!
A lot of bad calls in this game. Refs are human I guess. Tennessee made bad plays to add to the Worst ten minutes they played in that game. Don’t worry, the time will once again come when top 5 teams will fear you.
Tennessee had this game won 4 times over in regulation. This is a horrible loss for Tennessee. Four times ? I stopped watching at 13 minutes 44 sec. We know the ending. From what I recall just watching there was four pass interference calls against Tennessee during regulation that kept the Oklahoma offense alive. Just one of those not called means Tennessee wins the game in regulation. It is a hostile away game, but holy smokes talk about good fortune for the Sooners. All credit for the comeback, but during regulation Tennessee clearly was the better team and had the W easily in hand. Baker made great plays with many extra opportunities. Luck had it's part in O. U. win on the road. EPIC Tennessee collapse aided by 4 pass interference calls during regulation.
Tennessee lost this because Josh Dobbs is terrible. He couldn't orchestrate a touchdown drive in the 4th Quarter to put Tennessee up 24-3?? Can't sit on a 14 point lead 17-3 against Oklahoma. Too much offensive power to sit on that.
As a lifelong Vol fan , I guess Oklahoma replaced UCLA as the out of Conference foe . Cut down on the jet lag but ,damn , Vols have got to win one to make it a good series .
