Ha! Be careful going home James. I pray you are well and duly sedated after you get in bed and you can sleep, I've slept pretty well in the last few days just not many hours. Usually, 4-5 hours or less. When I do fall asleep finally, I sleep like a fat baby. And for whatever reason, whatever time I go to sleep, my mind wakes me up no later than 9am! I'm working very hard to get my studio up so I can start using it as an income stream! That tends to wear me out hence the sleep. Once the studio is finished, or close enough, I'll include you on some pictures. Sadly, I didn't think to include the before just the after! Thanks James

Dan's version is so much better than the original. His voice is richer... as always he puts so much emotion into his music.... into the performance. And the fact that he had lost his beloved father not too long before he recorded this...added even more emotion. Your eyes were closed during the time when they scrolled on the screen that video was lost, so they didn't want to lose the audio & put the history stuff to create that particular weeks Shoutout, as it couldn't be re-done. The band stems from lead guitarist Dave Beth & his wife Ashley They have been doing these Shoutouts for over a decade now. Never missing a wknd & learning a new song every week to give a Shoutout to one of their followers online. The premise is to invite you into their house, share company & listen to music. They now have remodeled their studio & perform from their each week as the other founding member of the band, Bassist Russ Dean died during Covid. These are informal sessions, now followed by a chat. I agree the other video on her channel was better but Gigi and her band are great regardless. Love your comparison format. Allows you to see how the artist puts their spin on a song. Also live your honest reactions. Could you please do Gigi’s version of Sam Smith’s Unholy. I did not see it on your channel. This song really shows off Gigi’s artistry and performance skills.

Hands down, James Arthur. His song, his life experience, his authenticity and his story. He was almost cancelled by his texting scandal. It may be simply that I know the context.
Both versions are beautiful, but Gabriel puts his soul and emotion in the music, and his whistles make the difference . Thats why I think Gabriel presentation is better than the original by Foreigner.
