Drake is Biracial raised by his white Jewish momma. The antiquated one-drop rule doesn't make him Black. And yes, he's a colonizer, which he's proven time and time again.
You gave props to him.. but you obviously don't know Kendrick... Kendrick is already got credibility for being an artist that doesn't need to tear people down with lies. Didn't you pay attention to euphoria lyrics? .... Or were you like the other Drake fans and non hip hop knowledgeable heads that tried to say euphoria because it wasn't a club banger it wasn't that good? Euphoria actually to me was a harder coming at his throat diss. He killed him with euphoria, and then was dancing on his grave with not like us And a club radio song it is not the classic diss track format. You look too young to understand true hip hop. Anybody that knows true hip hop and knows Kendrick.... Knows that this battle was over before it started
All you gotta do is google for proof. Drake literally kissing a 17 year old on video and saying her breasts felt nice against him 😮😮😮😮. Drake is. Fraud and a liar yet the man who’s authentic and bares his soul is music is asked to “prove” what’s right in front of your eyes
Why Drake thought it would be a good idea to take on one of the best lyricist ever is beyond me. Dude literally won a Pulitzer in freaking STORYTELLING. The powers that be who know absolutely nothing about rap could have told you, "This some dumb crap you're doing right now." Like Drake knows he's had ghostwriters. He knows he doesn't have the skill. I'm gonna tell you I was immediately enraged when he used AI Pac. The audacity, sit down somewhere, Drake isn't even on the same planet as Pac. If anything, he would have had Kendricks back. IMO, if you use ghostwriters at all, it knocks you down the totem pole and out of the top tier. I don't mean like Em writing that verse for Dre or JayZ writing that verse for Dre. Those are known. They're not creeping around behind the curtain. I could be bias cause I have never been a Drake fan. The only songs of his I can name were in this beef. 😂
Drake is Black, but he's not African-American. That's an experience unique to us, so he has no reference for the slave experience because it is not the same in Canada.
I would rather listen to this song over Eminem's new one. I don't know if it's his voice, his substance, or another unknown variable in the song, but playing Houdini is an unpleasant experience to me. I love his other songs, but this one felt forced...
Everything Kendrick put out its amazing 👏 you have to listen and understand the lyrics. The man is good. Drake is more like ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTVWXYZ. Easy
people don't like it because it's just overly sexual but done in extremely unsexy way, it's like listening to that one dude who talk about sex so much and you just know he doesn't get any. Just cringe
