We all were very critical of J Cole after he apologized to Kendrick Lamar. But after witnessing what Kendrick Lamar did to Drake I must say that J Cole made the right decision. If he would've continued the beef it could've been career homicide for him due to how messy the beef got between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.

I think - J Cole would have held his ground and stayed in the three-way if the beef was going to be about lyricism and skill. If it was about the sport, he would have loved to compete with Kdot and Drake. But I think he realized that Kdot wasn't in a competing mood. Kendrick was fed up with Drake for a decade. Kdot wanted this war for a VERY long time. He wasn''t out to prove himself as the best. He wanted to eliminate Drake. He provoked Drake, Drake took the bait, thought it was gonna be about skill - but Kdot was stacking ammunition to end the culture vultue...and maybe - he just did.

Do none of you have the gift of discernment? I never once saw what he did as weak. It takes true strength to walk in humility. He realized the hate they had for eachother and didn't want that because he respects Kendrick too much. He told Dre to sign Kendrick. Ain't no way he tags team him with some foreigner.

That's the point of the video, my guy.. I urge you to watch til the end cause it appears you missed the point. Also, J Cole was 1st to jump in the mix to pull himself out. This was prior to Drake responding to Kendrick. It's hip hop, so originally, I thought the move was weak. None of us thought the beef with Kendrick would turn out like it did against Drake.

Drake being a culture vulture and exploiter in general was the reason hip hop heads been moving away from him, but he was seen as a golden ticket feature, but that's now a golden shower. If that's your thing go off, but they not like us fr. And the really clever thing kendrick did is he united the culture against corporate mass produced evil actions. Just like he did with alright. It's almost like he has actual strategy.

Real winner? No. What he did was ok, but rap is competitive by nature so dodging the confrontation disqualified him from being the best. There is no shame in it tho and if he did not feel like going against kendrick that is totally fine. But lets be real, Kenny is the real winner here and deserves to be praised as such.
