Honestly the problem with model x for me is that he doesn't have some form of air boost or like the hover boots. I get why those are armor perks but those are actually _useful_ for exploration
My greatest grief with it is that it is not as good as it should be considering the trouble you go through to get it. And the game makes poor use of his mechanics: it doesn't give much opportunity to use it, nor many places where he is actually necessary (in combat I mean, not to unlock a new path)
Stream gets going at about 12:30. For future streams, I'll be making my game audio louder, it was fine on my end, but as I'm re-watching the stream, you could barely hear it.
Honestly my problem with it is by the time you get it feels underwhelming, like if this was the _first_ one you get, then i could find some serious use out of because the touch screen kunai is great at hitting the mavericks without weaknesses or weakspots being dented
I think both in-universe and irl have explanations as to why the Gaea armor is underwhelming. In-universe, Dr. Light's message tells you it's just a prototype, so the underperformance is expected as such. Irl, you get it too late for it to matter compared to the other armors. And easy fix to that, and I think the developers didn't consider (or they did but then didn't implement it), is to switch the Falcon armor capsules for the Gaea armor capsules and vice-versa. That way, you get the Gaea Armor parts in the stages to the left, so you can complete it first to use it. Now it has a purpose and utility. Sure, you gotta change some minor details on the stages to the right to get the capsules for the Falcon armor (like in Spiral Pegasus stage for example), but it would feel fullfiling at the end of the game.
I liked model P's idea, but I always felt it was underpowered or that it had little space to shine, since H overshadows a lot of P's abilities (like stages don't really explore them as you can just use H and achieve the same result, and the dark rooms in area I are optional), specially in ZX, SPECIALLY the ceiling-hang-climb in ZX (ZXA made a better use of it for a single f-ing sidequest, ffs). And since I kill everything that's in my way, shadow-dash was only useful for the subtank run at the volcano area for me (yes, I used to, and still to this day, do the whole Lab area with model H bc f it). When I first played ZX, I immediately thought I would use P more if it had an alternate, single, multidirectional shot, somewhat like Axl in x8 (without the "hold for rapid fire"). ZXA fixed that with the "radar" kunai, but then they totally nerfed Siarnaq, and the legacy collection then proceeded to make the "radar" kunai basically unusable. 🤦♂️ They could've at least enabled touchscreen input for the Switch and Steam (Deck) versions.
Same thing here! It's gonna be very fun, albeit very long, to make. I'm doing the last of the Guardian Models, and then Model A before it, I cannot come up with a title for the Model OX Video to save my life
I also found that Model PX is handy to get through the spike pit with shifting blocks because it can anchor to the ceiling so if you need to get the timing back, you can do that.

Shoutouts to Whoisthisgit and his “Worst Boss” and “Boss analysis” series >MM2 Booby Trap from Wily Stage 4 >MM9 all Wily Phases >X6 High Max, Nightmare Mother, Gate >MMZ1 Armed Phenomenon Copy X These are one of the few I can think of from each subseries.
Poor Px getting nerfed as F in Zx:A understandable though as Shuriken + Kunai, Shuriken + Overdrive and Kunai + Overdrive was strong. A good Px who mastered those three attacks and can chain them could melt the enemies, stages and bosses in seconds.
So what I'm gathering here is that Model PX is the underrated one, while Siarnaq is the underpowered one. As someone who loves PX and has repeatedly tried to love Siarnaq, that's how I feel, anyway.
Seriously, between no Overdrive, no Shadow Dash, Shuriken being downgraded to a level 2 and made exclusive to Grey, and no Shield, it's basically lost all but a sliver of its ultility.
ZXA nerfed most of the biometals by removing overdrive and nerfing their charge shots, because Model P was already the weakest of the bunch Siarnaq becomes underpowered.
@@demi-femme4821I mean, even without the Overdrive, the Shuriken was still pretty useful in ZX. The lv 2 charge is the worst part here, imo. I kinda like that Ashe's shield basically slashes everything that gets near, though, it gives her more freedom to move around in stages. Regardless, it's ironic that the assassin dude is the worst against bosses lol
I like it for phase 1 albert, dunno if it's the best, probably far from it, but it still mashes fine enough on it cos phase 1 al doesn't have i frames.
I think the optimal strat for Dragon Albert is using Vent/Aile, doing two triple slashes and popping a charge shot, rinse and repeat. But kunai spam is good too, if that's what you want to do.
When I first played Megaman ZX and getting Model P, I played a hella lot of of him because he was a freaking Robot Ninja and pretty much did a challenge run with only him as soon as I grabbed the PX.
