yeah says the commentator to an actual F1 driver. Always found him to be a bit sanctimonious. We seem to be politically woke now. Next thing you know we will have the grid girls doing the commentary on F1.
The mess was never sorted especially after Liberty took over, gutted and competition and sporting aspect from the series and turned it into a fucking consumer product for the idiot masses.
For those that dont know, Irvine has become an incredible Property Developer in Miami and beyond, which is not easily done. It's very impressive. Should have been a World Champion but sadly missed out.

Everything Eddie said has ended up being true. We now have stupid gimmicks like the sprint format that means absolutely nothing because it has no affect on the Grand Prix itself. The sport has become a complete mess for the sake of attracting a larger DTS audience and social media celebrities while alienating the real hardcore fanbase who have had to watch it slide down into the total fustercluck it is today.
I agree with Irvine. People love DRS for more overtaking but personally I can’t stand it. It ruins any chances of a slower car winning a race now because even if a slower car was in front of a faster without DRS it can still be hard to overtake on a lot of tracks and teams relied more on strategy rather than this artificial nonsense.
