The first question I ask when playing a new game: "Does it have a Wavedash"? What I mean is, does this game have deep mechanics that require practice and dedication to perform as well as creativity and strategy to execute properly? Does the payoff look and feel awesome? ..and does that payoff create a skill gap between the new players, experienced players, pro players and "Gods" of the game? It does? Now you have my attention.
Halo is a perfect example of a game with a Wavedash. Through in-depth analysis and performance-like delivery his channel seeks to showcase the exciting nuances of competitive Halo, taking a look into the mind of the worlds greatest players and their decisions on both a micro and macro level.
If you want to MASTER Halo, you've come to the right place. If you want to become a better GAMER, the content on this channel will help you build the mindset and awareness necessary to succeed in ANY title you set your mind to. Let the grind begin!
First crossplatform Halo game because 4 and 5 sold like shit as exclusives. And with Infinite we got the best sandbox and map design in the franchise's history but then they gave controllers such extreme aim assist that nobody else would want to play without the option for input matchmaking, which the game had. Then they took away the option because the MNK players were the majority. It's no mystery why the game failed but all that's left are console kids coping.
I'd be suprised about Snakebite on that team, but the other guys makes sense. Eco, Stellur, Trippy, Lucid would still be legit. But Snakebite would be an interesting and unexpected addition.
Entertaining overview. After 10+ years of competing and even more years of watching MLG, I completely moved on from Halo to Overwatch in '19 after Faceit London. But I still watch ShyWay because of his way of keeping you hyped and interested, and his sympathetic style. Would def like to check out the next HCS stream IF ShyWay is casting!
I don't see why people are finding it difficult that SSG could split up given their dominance. This is likely the last year of HCS. Where a new halo probably won't be released for years to come. Hence it'll their last chance to profit off of their success. Optic doesn't only bring in views it also helps with other avenues such as streaming and content.
lucid has to team up with stellur and eco if he wants to win,,,,,,,,please not cykul last shot or supressed bro not no one but eco and stellur he has to make a strong move if he teams up with these guys surpressed cykul or last shot hes not gonna win none he has to go for stellur and eco he has to make a move with ssg if not optic will be OP renegade bound legnd formal
Question from someone doesn't follow comp Halo but does follow Optic and FormaL. Where does FormaL sit amongst the best players in Halo? Is a top 5 player? Top 10?
Imo he’s good enough to be in the conversation for top 5, but you can also make that argument for nearly anyone on the top 3 rosters. (SSG, OpTic & FaZe)
if i was optic then i would keep lucid as long as optic owns the halo team. he literally kept the team alive. get rid of Kenny since Formal wants to play cod again to keep lucid lmao. you can literally see Dashy and kenny don't click and fully trust each other.
0:53 stellur has hit unreal levels of sniping since hcs season 2 and will probably control snipe the most if they team. That being said lucids probably the only one who rivals him with the snipe and the only one I’ve seen win snipe duels against stellur on maps like pit or argyle where stellur’s stellar no scopes aren’t as prominent
Last Shot on the old Shopify roster would help them get over the line imo. Playstyle wise I dont think Trippy is an upgrade on Mental. I know Trippy has won worlds but you have to take into consideration the team he was with. Pluss its now using the Bandit. Obviously Trippy is still an unbelievable player though.
"If this is the last year of the HCS.." Any actual reason to think that? If year 4 happened, I don't see why there wouldn't be a year 5 in Infinite (or even another game).
