The song is basically about a traffic light. If you really listen to the lyrics he's talking about being behind somebody in traffic, and they just sit there when the light turns green.
I’ve seen Mammoth several times. Simply amazing! I won’t miss a show of theirs. Wolf is one of the most talented people I’ve seen. I’m 66, and have been a DJ since 80. Met his dad a couple times, and he is just as talented as Eddie, if not better. Wolf could play Eruption at 15 years old. He plays every instrument on his albums, but his favorite is the drums. His uncle Alex taught him well!
_Watching you hike through the Upper Park Fire Burn Scar is truly inspiring. It's a testament to nature's resilience. Thank you for sharing this powerful journey._
While I’m gutted to see my back yard ravaged once again by fire, I am relieved to see that it is not a total loss. Thanks for watching and for the kind words. Cheers!
The lore of TOP is a background thing mostly. There's a storyline in some of the music videos, and it's referenced in some of the songs, but the lore is a metaphor for mental health struggles, and the songs that relate can be interpreted either from a lore point of view and from a real life mental health, which is how I think they manage to be more accessible than a lot of people think they would be when they hear the word "lore". I think Paul Meany had a hand in producing every song on this album, or at least the majority of them. If you want to hear a song where you can really feel his influence, I recommend Backslide.
This video is really bizarre. A song that purports to promote women's equality and empowerment (listen to the lyrics) yet in which Katy Perry wears next to nothing the entire time. The whole sequence at the urinals was beyond weird---men don't gyrate their hips when urinating----and the strip show where she peels off her top and squeezes her breasts together makes no sense given the message of the lyrics. What is she trying to say? That a woman like her can give birth and still remain sexy? Still have perky breasts? What are we supposed to take away from these scenes? More importantly, what is Katy Perry's DAUGHTER----yes, she has one----supposed to take away if she ever watches this video? The imagery is really odd too. We go from Rosie the Riveter to Playboy in no time flat. And if the message is that women are more than just their reproductive capacity, what's with the fallopian tube model hanging from the rearview mirror of the truck? And what's with the destruction of a perfectly serviceable Honda Accord coupe?
Katy Perry is the first one to make a joke about herself. It’s a fun satirical video. It was not meant to be analyzed under a microscope. Just enjoy it for the fun it is. Geez!!
Definitely one of their more chill, radio friendly songs. The whole Clancy album is worth a listen in my opinion. The opening track would be what you would class as their form of evocative.
I would love for you to dive more into Twenty One Pilots music, as some mentioned before, they’re actually brilliant - starting from music itself and the lyrics and then their live performances, the context of the lyrics, the way every detail of a song is thought through. I actually think you will enjoy it, if you give a chance to other songs as well. Clancy is a GREAT album, pretty diverse, so you could listen to it without knowing the lore. However, I’d say it way WAY more interesting if you actually go through the whole story (told through music videos) and eventually come to the Clancy album Thank you for your reaction! I’d love to see more from you! I liked your honesty and thoughts on this one
Well I like it - it's all tongue in cheek, taking the rip out of societies dated views of women, it's full of humour - highly satirical. And I am one of those intelligent, sexy, confident women.......
@@JakeNolen well if you’d like to do strictly lore, heavydirtysoul but I’d go through the album vessel first, then everything is in order of their discoverify and when you’re caught up you can go back and react to self titled and regional at best + live versions through out
