I agree with you, but then again if I were Tim Allen, I wouldn’t want anything to do with a children’s movie that features gay relationships. It’s sick to do that. That’s another way that Disney shot themselves in the foot.
I read the book and I watched the movie and while I have to say, that the film hardly does the book justice and is dumbed down quite a bit, I really love the songs and the soundtrack of it!

I heavily dislike the Lightyear movie. If it was made back in the 90s, around the time Toy Story was made, it would've been a completely different movie.

That's a great rant and she makes a lot of sense and makes some good points. Unfortunately sexism against women is still pretty common, though fortunately things get better in time. I've never heard about the show until now, so I have no idea if it was good or not. But since it got cancelled, I imagine it wasn't that good? It looks like it had a relaunch, so it was already cancelled, which doesn't bode well since reboots are quite a gamble.
I'm a lesbian and as far as representation goes Catradora is horrible. Catra is so abusive and everyone just ignores it because it's "progressive". It sucks. SO MUCH. Adora deserved better.
I may not be a fan of the show but I definitely respect your input about it. Wish others would realize that instead of being seals for corporations that just want to vandalize sex, culture and society. It's not progressive when it's regressive.
