Yes, in my experience it does SUCK for this as a new user. Early in development is not an excuse I give a damn about. Cool properties mean nothing if I get no communication I care about and my stuff cannot be seen by others easily. Search across content or collecting hash tags isn't exactly hard. I very much want subject feeds especially if I am trying to lean about something or contribute to conversations and discussions around it. Yes other times I want to follow people. BOTH are required of a vibrant platform and in an easy to use way. All the different kinds are impossible to understand or handle? Then you have a poorly thought out kind propagation and discovery mechanism. Distribute objects of different kinds not previously known at receiver and retrieval of the kind information has been done many times. This video makes Nostr sound like a bunch of unstructured communication paths. Self displaying objects are a cool idea we have seen before to and sound good in this and many other spaces. I wish everything in the computational world was self displaying including interaction. So far there is not enough content I want that is findable withing the chaos. Only a lot of hype and needless mystification. And I am a very experienced techie. What do you think it is like for the average internet user?
there is a nostr relay setup guide but it's not 100%. You've got to find what your best solution and language would be and then see the implementations avaliable

Actually there is no user friendly way to manage self custodial ln wallet, it NEVER will be solved because to do ln tx both sides must be online and have open wallets.
The search engine results have been terrible in the last 5 to 7 years. Any engine, Google, DDG, qwant, Bing Starpage etc. It is always bombarded with latest "news" info or some doctored results I wasn't even looking for.
