Musicians should definitely be payed for their talents. We should respect and give them the love if we can where we can and when we can. Not when they leave church and they receive the love elsewhere and we wonder why they left church because we didn't nourish them and cherish them enough.

but anyone who watched the first movie would know that Gurney is alive cause Paul finds him in the first movie, and when feyd/sting fights Paul Gurney says " This is a Harkonnen animal! Let me. Please, my lord" or am I mixing up the wrong character
I doubt marriage would have made that situation any easier. I've seen families kick out widows at funerals. Families can be shit, same with marriage, it doesn't solve all your issues. I mean hell look at it today. Marriage is legal and there are even more lgbt+ groups popping up every day. Being gay is a protected class, if anyone sags anything that doesn't line up with their ideology it is treated as heresy and the public flock to ostracize and or punish the culprits of their thought crimes.
Animals have to conserve energy in harsh winter climates just to make it through. This guy already has to travel fifty miles a day to feed himself so it's painful to see people chase an animal with a drone in these conditions, because entertainment.
