They look weird without the runner toe… but then again that was terrible for skating. I’m just heartbroken they didn’t put the bubble in the one reissue cause the patent had expired.
Wait this is not a Casper flip I don’t know what it is but caspers are in the air it’s a half flip shove if you look online you will see them this is a different trick unless Casper flip and Casper are two different things

@@RealLifeSkater you didn’t say flip that’s just the only way I’ve heard it i didn’t know about this trick cool freestyle move I’ve seen Dan origin do it in a mini ramp it was insane balanced on the tail on the coping and flipped it back into the ramp it was next level
I didn’t know that was a Casper I do the one in the air like Ollie then half flip it spin it like a shove and it flips back over I thought the whole trick happened in the air
Possibly the slickest production I've seen from a skate youtuber! (and the standard is high) Casper was looking sweet, mad how tricks can just make sense suddenly!
hey man, cool video! I'm starting skating at 22 and sometimes it feels a little too late, specially when going to the park and seeing a bunch of 10~16 old kids. so cool to see you having fun
You got 15 years before you even get close to me! Congrats on starting. There’s skaters of all ages. Thanks for watching and happy to hear about anyone who is starting up. Have fun!
@@Igor-rq5mp bro I’m 42 skating handrails it’s never too late and I’ve been skating a year I think doing RU-vid helped me progress because I’m always filming i tell new skaters you should record yourself watch in slow motion so you can analyze where things are going wrong the one thing is you hurt longer that comes with age but if I can do it at 42 you def can do it
I loved them back in the day, I had these but the original color way the red was a orange color. My friend had the Koston ones, so I got these and they were to tech for him, lol they were my all time fav ES shoe Id wish would get re issued
I’m not sure if you mean these ones or not, but they are coming out with the black/yellow combo. They also have a white navy that just came out. But the one you’re talking about the yellow ones… It might even be orange, it sort of looks like orange yellow. Anyway… They were definitely super tech! I remember me and my friend we’re all hyped off the first Kostons… And then came out and of course we had to get them. We saw they were super different and opinions were split, but the hype was still there… Everyone had them!
Unrelated but I wish I was a smaller size so they looked better on me. Haha. The black ones look way cleaner in the new éS video than my white ones do on my size 12s
Yea man, you are 🔥🔥 Im 37, beginner, out of focus, no motivation after i came back from 3 weeks break because of injury. Can't even do some simple stuff i did before lol Going out and skate just to feel better, get consistent i guess..
Hope you get back out there and have fun! Thanks for the comment I really appreciate. It’s hard after an injury for sure. My to this location in February was almost worse than my thumb break in December, because after the thumb break, I started wearing wrist guards, and I knew that I didn’t even fall when I broke it… So I’m just thinking, OK look out for things you can smack your hand on… Got over the fear really easily and not even two months later dislocated my toe and now I find myself more about my toe than my thumb ha ha. This instant reminder that I’m not invincible. It sucks… But I’m still having fun in trying to push myself, but within boundaries… and most importantly know he went to stop and wait for another day. Which goes against everything I knew about skating my entire life… It’s all about pushing through and trying so hard over and over and over and over again. So it’s hard to find balance these days. I’m finding I trust my gut
@@RealLifeSkater can totaly relate to that. Need to find balance, and main motivation is fun. Hope progress will come with time. Just hope it's before i hit 40.
dude I 100% recommend jumproping as part of your warm-up routine before skating!! I feel like it helps with ankle mobility and all the calf muscles needed to ollie around haha
I Like your mental direction to skating. I am a german guy with 33 years and thought i lost this Sport due fatherhood and no time caused by my jobs. So i can feel this Frustration and demotivation. Thanks for your positiv sight and Motivation and that you Shared this to reach me.. Skate on ✊🏼
Thank you! I sincerely appreciate that. It’s taken me some time to get there… no I have to figure out a way to balance it “enough” without not doing it for long gaps of time…. It comes back quick but tricks gets lost even quicker when you don’t skate for a while
I started again at 34 this past weekend. Gotta take breaks. I cant just repeatedly throw myself at a trick anymore. I never had to take aspirin the days after skating either lol.
Hell yeah! You got plenty of years in you. Congrats on starting again and have fun. I realized you can’t tell I was launching off of something with the shuv, and months ago I’d be flying off it. Now I’m barely getting the trick at all haha. I’m hoping Fall brings me more on board time.
It used to do that more for me then it finally stopped when I put my front foot further up near the bolts. Seems to keep it straight better. Hope you’ve been well!
I would honestly suggest trying out the emerica og-1 I normally wear a 10.5 in dunks and I can wear a 9.5 in the og-1’s can’t go wrong with the skateshop day or navy colorways
@Butchernamedbilly nice!! I got the skateshopday color way of the Koston 2 reissues. DC and eS have both been releasing some nice stuff. I wish Etnites would do the Mike Vallely’s (edit-damn! well were they worth it still?)
Agree with what you said. Started when i was 19 and i skated maybe for half year. Stoped because i got fired from job and i have to move to other side of state to work, traveled back for weekends home. Tho, what did not help also was that everyone was so much better than me and i did not have internet back then to help me with new tricks. Man, i wish i can have 20, 25 years back, with net, only that 😅😅
Dude this video is beautiful !! I immediately subbed. Just the Raw love for skateboarding culture and the beginning of when skateboarding shoes became more fine tuned to us actual skater’s technology wise. N just the passion of ur past. I do the same exact thing. I just bought the Jordan 5 burgundy (2023) because back in 06 when it first came out I wanted them so bad, but my mom would never pay that much for a sneaker. Absolutely love this homie. Can’t wait to see more content !!
Thanks so much for this comment!! I really appreciate it. I’m just trying to connect with others on a similar wavelength and super happy that you were able to pick up on those vibes
Keep going this game is brute it’s for gladiators only either your gonna suck quit or be a gladiator you gotta choose and which ever you choose don’t have regret 🔥big savage
I’ve been breaking stuff this year but I go real hard I’m 42 skating hand rails so hey it is what it is I skate with a broken wrist and torn meniscus that’s healing but it dosent scare me or make me do anything different I’m not afraid of getting hurt just irritated how long it takes me to heal this last ten months broke both wrist tore my meniscus fractured my ribs pulled every muscle I have and lost 80 pounds I’m a walking example of hard knocks
How are you healing up? Shit got crazy over here with work and summer plans. Been hard to get on board…. I’m missing it! We did have a family sesh 2 days ago which was fun. Hope all is well
@@RealLifeSkater I bit off a long 9 stair one. Scared the hell out of me. Nearly sacked on it once. Tumbled down on my face and elbows. Biggest one I slid . No more handrails for me. I’m just trying to continue with being a mini ramp champ and slappy mania. No jumping down, off or over things for me anymore. Low impact. Gotta keep these wheels on this thing for as long as possible.
