what about VW interior chrome. currently trying to strip mine with patio cleaner and its working very very slow. There in 5 litres of the strong stuff and its been 7 days and only like half done and some bits look barely done. What can i do?

Looks reasonable. I've got the spark 43rd Alonso AMR23 car and it's lovely, definitely next level compared with bburago. Annoyingly some UK ebayer has some for sale for a fair less than what I paid, so there's a good deal to be had on that one. I wish the real car disnt have so much exposed black carbon on the upper sidepods. However in real life yiure rarely seeing it from suxh a high angle and its hidden. I noticed yours has some blemishes in the RHS sidepod carbon bit. The fin design suggests it's an early season version. Spark and minichamps do a Bahrain version so may be that. Although I think it would be pretty unchanged for a few races anyway, such as at Australia
Depends on the paint you use and how clogged up they are. Why not try washing first, you have nothing to lose if you're planning on replacing them. I replace the front cloth often.
I subscirbed a month ago and i only got the XC falcon and the EH this firday (16/8) with my gift, and I just found out the XY 9issue 5) got released last week? the subscribtion serivce needs to be faster
Subscribers get a monthly delivery of 2 models, so they will always be a couple of weeks behind on one of the models. But at least you can be sure of eventually receiving them :)
I REALLY appreciate these 2 videos they are crucial to new builders of these kits. They look GREAT when done but salvinos is a small company trying to do BIG things so some number mismatches and vague instructions are to be expected but can be VERY complicated for beginners myself included. I dont know why salvinos hasnt made videos explaining the issues but im glad you have thanks you have earned a thunbs up and new subscriber!
Thanks for solving the mystery of the missing part, I just bought the Minolta livery version of this kit, I don’t know what state the decals are in but it is possible to get new decals on eBay for that kit, I sort of thought that was the inter cooler pipe but now I know, I really wish someone would do a video on detailing all the extra piping and fuel injection rail and injectors, there are photos of these but I would like to see it done, but looks like I will have to tackle it on my own.
One think that disappoints me about this series is that the boxes don't stack on top of each other like the Biante models cars. That would have been handy.
I got issue 2 at the newsagent and issue one (at triple the price) on ebay. I put in a subscription starting at issue 2 which I received but I'm still waiting for issue 3 and 4. ... and will we get a second folder at issue 21 and 41. The folders are only designed for 20.
Yeah, they're really nice, the finish is superb. It's great that these old race cars have been preserved in model format. I saw that Ace Model Cars still has a few of available, though they've become quite pricey.
Although interested, I've missed all of these... yet I've put very little effort in by only checking with the local newsagent. I am currently heading towards the completion of The Formula One Car Collection. A series that has been ongoing for something like 6 years. I very early on SUBSCRIBED to this series and to date, have not missed an issue. My recommendation is, Subscribe.
Yep, if you don't want to risk missing out, subscribing is the smart thing to do. That F1 collection proved popular and blew out to an incredible number of models - didn't realise it had been going for 6 years!
I missed out on the XY Ford but had no problems with the other ones. The first issue the HK Monaro, I noticed that they didn't sell all of them in one day. You could still get one the next day. Cheers.
@wixy500 g,day just to let you know that I was looking at the list of 50 model car that I got a Chrysler valiant E49 charger and the year of that model is 1972 not 1971 that say on the list of model car I should be wrong but my model Chrysler E49 valiant charger is orange with black strike .
@@richardthirkell7349 the list IXO published does have some errors. I saw on Facebook someone went thru and pointed them all out (sorry, can't remember where on FB I saw that)
The scalping is getting out of hand...one guy took all of the cars off the hooks at Auto barn and bragged about it to his mates...and retail store staff like Big W are scoring the best diecast cars for the mates ! its ruining the hobby.
My paper shop only got 6 not 8 as ordered I got mine. And mentioned supply is getting thin.Found another paper shop it had 6 on the shelf I bought two extra.
I was going to start collecting them, but I found that Scalextric were doing Australian touring cars, I now have a great collection of SLR 5000s/A9X/LJ Torana's and Ford GTHO/XYGT's in the 80's Race liveries that I can race on a track instead of being just shelf queens
Scalpers are getting them and selling them online, as you said, I've got a subscription online and newsagent's, but I'm not buying mega amounts, cool video 😎 🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘👍🍻😎
I only just got series 3 and 4 delivered this week but I also got the special edition VK police car which I'm pretty happy with 👌 hopefully the rest keep coming 🤞
at my newsagent no problem with this xy gt they had 5 in the box but thats just for people who have pre orders i did see this with the eh model when i picked up my one i have them on order there was 2 people before me asking if they had any eh models left and was none
Magnifique construction. Je n'ai jamais monté la mienne... Par contre, il est une erreur courante de la nommer 640 mais c'est la 639. Elle a commencé les essais et la première course vainqueur Mansell avec les ouïes. Ensuite Ils ont installé la prise d'air dynamique, et on eu enfin le 640 pendant la saison.
@@wixy500 There are collectors & there are speculators; some people do both, of course. Everybody wants their collection to go up in value. But when you get a preponderance of speculators you get a market distortion that wrecks it for the genuine collector.
I am unsure of the type of ignition on this car, but the plug leads connect into ignition units at the back of the engine. It might be easier to see in the photos on the blog of the build? >> www.wixy500.com/build-diary-1989-sauber-mercedes-c9/
Great video! Very informative. Would love to see Greenlight do this in 1/18. They already have the tooling from the “Mad Max “ Interceptor. Watching from USA.
