Oh boy, if you can't get over something easily please get out and look (if it's safe to do so) before you break your stuff. I apreciate the video but this doesn't show the best practices
That 2nd gen Xterra needs better tires, they look like worn-out street ones or something lol had they been new off-road ones and aired down, it would've been way better
Drew Timelapse No. You can clearly tell it’s an open diff. When one wheel spins on one side and the opposite doesn’t it’s an open diff. A locker is a great upgrade for those old Jeep XJs
Hey dude in the Xterra PRO 4X, you need a good lift and off road tires before you do that shit! I have a PRO 4X myself and I have a lift and Mud Terrain tires and also body armour
@@TheDFlipps it's obvious your the idiot I wasn't complaining I was just giving advice you your the 1 getting butt hurt and can't take advice and maybe I wasn't on the trail but I've been on several just stop being an a hole for people being nice enough to give you advice so you won't damage your vehicle
chevrolet631 I would always suggest a titan swap over any differential drop kit. You get lift with the diff drop but you don’t get any extra ground clearance and it just looks bad I think too
Oh the drivers. Wow. People need serious off road training. That was painful to watch. And that all of the bystander's just watched and didn't do any training at all. I could have done better in a front wheel drive Volkswagen Golf.
@@TheDFlipps Ok maybe not, but. I guess I say these things because I grew up in a family that were off road junkies (Moab Utah types) and taught me how to off road from when I was born to now. 38. Looks like you guys had a blast though.

Who gives a shit. Fucking shit head. They enjoy it they may not be the best but why shit on someone's parade? All that matters is they are having fun
@@thelawonguns5217 hey did you ever think maybe you shouldn't really let it bother you that much if it isn't directly affecting your life in some harmful way?
I have a 2006 off road Edition manual transmission what are my big advantages with the Titan swap just, I already have the Locker on the back and limited slip on the front differential
great info. About 11 inches of front travel and a beefed up front differential. You won’t be able to get this much lift without the longer travel. And wider stance in front
With a Titsn swap, taller &wider = better stability overall, more ground clearance underneath the whole vehicle, longer travel. Secondary benefit is you can put wider tires = more stability & bigger contact patch. That matters more in wet or icy roads.
B Roll Offroad thank you! Yeah it was fun. Yeah I’ve seen the stuff you’ve been putting up on reddit, that’s some good material you’ve been putting up, lota hard work to get all that filmed
TheDFlipps that's good, lockers save a lot of thrashing on your rigs. Look at the newer pro 4x. I run ko2's and it made a huge difference in my Tacoma (4runner doesn't see much off Rd yet)
The newer Xterra should have a rear locker that comes with the vehicle. Mine does. The only package that has the offroad lights on the roof rack is the package that has a rear locker. Skid plates too.
