Torres: you wear your convictions well, they suit you. Haytham: youve shown great conviction, strength, courage; all noble qualities. Like grandfather, like grandson.
I went into this, fully intending to watch no more than the first minute, and I ended up watching the whole thing. I had forgotten how much I love this game.
That nightmare is literally a kick for me. To see that your quest for power ended up being worthless and meaningless and it just kicked you in the gut about the consequences.
Since Edward is an ancestor of Desmond, that means he has to be descended from either Altair or Ezio, so why did he know nothing about Assassins or Templars?
there's something in the older games that is missing in the newer games and I can't put my finger on it. Be it the voice acting or lack of mocap, the newer games just fall flat compared to the older ones. Don't get me wrong, I'm of the unpopular opinion that Odyssey was actually a good game (as long as you seperate it from the AC series), but the Desmond games and even Black Flag and, dare I say, Syndicate, all had more depth and feeling to them. It's like the creators really lost their spark and passion and is just cranking out bigger games for more money.
He killed one of the best master assassin, he wiped out all the members of west indies templar, he cleared spanish galleon alone, he was in the middle of battle between british and spanish, he also sneak out to the assassin hide-out, and he joined the assassin in order to make amends of all calamity he made
The first impression of Edward that made me love him immediately was “shut your fucking gob before I fill it with shot you hear me?” Made me die laughing 😂😂😂
I totally disliked him at first, but ended up as one of my favourite characters. Sometimes you love and others you can't help but blame him for what he has brought upon himself, but that's what makes him human. For this reason I believe he is one of the most relatable characters in the AC universe.
His character is supposed to be hated or dislike at first but as you progress with game, you start to relate and respect him as he changes. His character best teaches us that no matter the past, the future is in your hands
I love how Edward turns from a greedy pirate who doesn't take the world seriously to becoming a noble assassin that snaps and watches his friends die in a world that's becoming more civilized and the age of pirates ended
