One of the most toughest and roughest part of Kansas City. Super stressful place just to drive and walk around. Im surprised you didn't get accosted more. You were the only in his homeless territory and he didn't want you there. Wish i had been there to back ya up. Glad you're safe. Just think, every mural from now on will be a breeze 😅
wonderful! i love that association. I actually painted a laughing Buddha about a decade ago and its one of my first ever youtube timelapse videos. thanks for watching!
Yeeeees! i feel that way too. thats my hope anyway. that these characters can provide moments of calm understanding/empathy with the viewer. thanks for watching!
Goodness me what an undertaking! You’re showing so much technique with this one! The accents are outta this world! Regrettably, you had to deal with that person, but hey, it just made this mural more memorable, and hey, no experience is bad as long as you learn something from it! Thanks for this fantastic art share!
@@justinsievers2756 I’m glad you brought it up. Very soon! I plan to do more videos just like this, and I am currently getting setup for some live streaming as well.
i always appreciate your kind words. Glad i can inspire you, as it brings me purpose. It takes time, and attention, but i believe anyone can develop skill. drawing and painting are beautiful in that the canvas will always be there patiently waiting for you to come create. My advice is to find a subject (faces, trees, flowers, the simpler the better, make sure it is something you enjoy and isnt stressful) and just draw/paint that thing over and over, in a variety of ways, and eventually you will build confidence in your skills and style. If youre looking for a good book to inspire you, i recommend Art & Fear.
not a bad idea. just do your research and find one that fits. more importantly try to build the habit of meditation and connect with your own spirit. your intuition is a vital tool for your overall wellness. cant trust others if you dont trust yourself first. gotta connect with yourself to build that trust. hope you find the help you looking for. come chat with me on gaming live streams on twitch if you get lonely: Leprechaun_al
@@TriviaIllusion thank you very much! I really want to make a push to do more local projects. Yes! I finished that one last week! Still gotta clear coat it, but I think all those murals are complete now.
@@CharlesHancockCreations gotta! Grateful for it. What’s ironic is this took just as long as any mural of similar size just because of the surface texture and straight lines
Lovely tits! X) Jokes aside, that was very insightful in how to approach layering the colour on the painting, something I’m Still very much struggling with x)
@@pinkythedrood haha thanks. Yeah im a big fan of starting with a dark/midtone and then adding light to it to refine the shapes, then going back in with darks to further define the shapes. Starting with the silhouette gets your composition set, then you can finesse the details from there. I’ll do plenty more videos like this where I go into more detail about the process
@@sbreve.sbreve hell yeah! Thank you for believing in me. I will do my best to prove you right!! Stay tuned for some exciting things in the near future.
