Nicely done. And by the way, great idea I'm gonna do the same. I currently have one outlet that runs off my shore power. I'm gonna add a second one. I can run off of my inverter in 12 V system.
@@pennyclegg7728 Thank you if you have any questions let me know. Biggest things is mark every piece and take lots of pictures even when insulation is down so you know where framing and wires are once you put walls back up! Good luck on your build!!
You killed it bro absolutely Genius. My trailer is a 7 x 16 interior height 66 but about 3 1/2 inches are taken away because of flooring and insulation so I’m gonna do something very similar to this. I appreciate your content.
Love to see that while ya out fishin. Keep it up man. Havent fished with ya in like 15 years, we gonna have to get a fishing trip going with the old gang 😆
This is great. A no nonsense design and doesn't cost $1k. This is also making one less electrical item for those that could spend the money somewhere else in the build. Thanks for the vid
I love it! I have been doing some research on similar ideas one was basically this but w a motor… great job Bro!!! I wish I could do so good w my videos. 😂 Have a Blessed day!!!
@@wilty5 I’ve never had an issue with mold but can totally understand when condensation forms this could be an issue. Thank you for the tip I’ll have to check this in the fall!
@@BCBackwaters I have a pelican with a storage compartment there but the covers cracked, and can’t find a replacement. Was wondering if I could install that one.
@@Trent-1436 the metal was about 2” wide and 30” long and about a 1/4” thick. Unfortunately I don’t know how the side pieces where bent it came with the boat as a single piece and I cut it in half to create two spots to mount lights.
I can see where you have a POL to male 1/4" NPT adaptor off the 5 pound bottle. Then u have a 1/4" female NPT coupling off the tank adaptor, but I can't tell what else you have between that and the small hose end fitting. Also what are u using for the small hose end fitting. Can u list the parts u used to make the connection?
The plumbing fixtures is what I was interested in. I had it figures out but didn't include a shut off valve on the 5 pounder side. SO thanks for the close up on how you did all that. Also on the air bleed, I was wondering when you knew when to shut it off. Some people go by weight. But I like your idea of going until you see the vapor.
@@larrywiddis470 Absolutely it does I’ve seen this method used on both fiberglass and aluminum. Also in 36 degrees Celsius but not sure how it would hold up in desert applications.
@@BCBackwaters having a rubber roof precluded my use of an adhesive but should I install again on fiberglass or metal I’d use 3M without worry. In the first days of solar lots of RVers were worried about panels blowing off. I’ve yet to see a panel on the side of the road or viewed an RV missing one.
Hey from the U.K. across the pond! Just subscribed dude. Awesome vlogs on the raising bed. I'm doing another van for myself and was looking for something just like this. It really is perfect for my needs so thankyou my friend. I'll let you know how it goes😅. Be safe.🤙
A great and elegant design to do this. I noticed you had another person to help with moving the end of the bed into the locked position. Is it easily manageable for one person to do this?
A little bit of back and forth with one person but definitely manageable. I would say if it is difficult for someone I would suggest adding a hand crank on the wall for support.
Need to shut the valve off and bleeder screw immediately after gas starts coming out in liquid form. Overfilling can cause explosions if was to leave set in the sunlight
