Welcome to our reaction channel! There are many like it, but this one is ours. For about a decade now, two of us would get together and screen different films to each other. It just never occurred to us to film ourselves watching them, until now.
Reminiscent of Laura with beautiful Gene Tierney and Dana Andrews 1944 where he falls in love with the portrait of Laura while investigating her death...and I agree that the alligator would have finished with the body before Denzel showed up...
You have no right to come into my home, make me homeless. Hack my phone, and my computer. And arrest my daughter, for a lie and theft that you made up and did yourself.. And are holding my exhusband in jail for a theift that You and your people did. I want my money. Pack your bags and get out of this country.
I can tell you, the moving train scenes were indeed real! They used real locomotives from Alaska, Montana and Oregon to do the moving train scenes. While in the cabs and in some scenes, they were filmed at a studio. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Runaway_Train_(film)#Shooting And believe it or not, this movie takes inspiration from a real life incident from the 1960s!
Hello. Greetings from Argentina. This movie is really great, I had it on VHS with Spanish subtitles. I congratulate you, the truth is I'm glad you enjoyed this gem of old-school cinema I leave you Scenes of how it is that I found a week ago: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zaiW4mDODAg.html
Based on King universe, this room is a "thiny" a place where the barrier between dimension is so thin that eldritch entities can influence our world. And the parasite entity in that room feeds on people emotions and have a taste for suicidal people, so it using its powers to make them go insane. Burning the room was the best idea he could have.
interesting movie...where protagonist basically provoked on purpose all the crap that the villain threw at him therefore arguably was worse then the actual villain...and the bad guy`s response was the only right choice cuzz just forgiving ``the good guys``or letting them walk away would made them lose any shred of respect they had remaining for him having in mind that it`s a literal mob boss we are talking about...
You guys been watching Disney movies for the last 20 years? This flick has a well put together soundtrack and I like every movie Christian Slater dies in.
@15:00 - In response to the question about her being blue/grey etc, when someone overdoses on opiates/opioids and their breathing stops, they stop getting enough oxygen then any at all, so their colour drains out of them, I've had a lot of friends, girlfriends overdose (and sadly lost a lot of them) and their colour was always a variance of light blue/grey Thank god not only was I with them but I always carry Narcan/Naloxone to reverse their overdoses, sadly sometimes either I did not currently have it on me or the more common occurence of the drug they'd taken was so powerful the Narcan either barely worked, or only did for a short period despite giviing them a full syringes worth of medicine. Combine that with a late incredibly overworked crew who would arrive too late, or we'd all wake up to find one/two of us had passed in the night, on some occasions they'd passed before even being able to change out of their dirty scraggily day clothes before getting into their sleeping bags in -10C weather, so they/'d overdosed/frozen to death because where we were situated often wasn't covered from the elements. - Remember folks!, if you ever come across someone having an Opiate Overdose or suspected overdose is 1- Chest Compressions !! 2- Call an ambulance 3- Find out if anyone or someone at reception etc has a Narcan/Naloxone/Naltrexone kit and follow the provided instructions **This is not medical advice, just common sense, don't sue me people of the internet please lol* 😅
I get that the bald guy is scared but he doesn't need to annoyingly laugh every few secs to make up for it. Don't treat this masterpiece of a movie as a joke
They actually filmed his death scene but unfortunately it was cut from final movie. You can see it here along with others: twitter.com/LunaLoungeReact/status/1764363723911594459
One thing about this movie, Vs. HotShots, is that this movie takes itself a little more seriously, even though it is a comedy. That makes it a more refined production. There's some easy comedy, but no lazy comedy. It takes a lot of devotion to detail to pull off the Swedish Bookstore scene, and the underwater brawl. I think you guys are one of the few reactors to notice the East German setting. The movie has the feel of an old war movie, but it's actually set in relatively contemporary times. (To the time it was released ) It mentions the Carter administration, and it has a Pinto. It probably takes place somewhere in the 70's or 80's.
2:15 Seeing these five guys in the same vehicle was honestly the biggest thrill ever back in 2002, especially given the setting and context. I probably could have died happy if I was allowed to ride in the trunk. This movie has way more star power than people give it credit for but in a good, non-gratuitous way.
One of my all time fav films. One of the theories behind this film is it's all based on Dante's levels of hell and Mike actually died in the beginning. There's some vids explaining it all here on youtube, well worth checking out.
the first half of the film up to when the bowie character kills the young girl is really good but it just seems to go downhill from there- shame really because it could have been a bit of a classic- but i did enjoy it
Just so you know that WAS Val Kilmer singing ... he sang all his own songs in the movie, and a few months after the movie's release Passport Records released a 6 song record of the songs with two different covers, one with his real name, and limited one using his movie name.
This was a huge hit with Bowie and goth fans in the 80s.Bauhaus was a cool underground band ,it was beautifully filmed.i had it on VHS and me and my high school friends watched it constantly
I love how this movie pays off Jimmy's boast .. "best arm in the national league." At the very end . On horseback, a bullet in his hand he throws a perfect long bomb. Perfect writing that Shane Black pays off everything and created another great duo. It's a crime we never got more films.
Dying by painful electric shock, coming back with adrenaline. Trying to kidnapp someone from high security prison...Would you risk your life for someone like this?
I remember seeing this in theatres in Dallas, TX and I really enjoyed the NOLA aesthetic it portrayed in the movie, then I moved to Kenner, LA for a nice pest control job and the area I often do pest control service in is the Algiers and surrounding areas. It's got some lovely parts and some that are not so lovely, but I've never seen a place with worse road infrastructure than NOLA and I didn't see roadwork signs, construction cones and tape and entire neighborhoods blocked because road construction could in theory be happening, but I've never seen any road workers in those areas fixing roads. There are better roadways in 3rd and 4th world countries when compared to the roads in NOLA...
As much as I love Die Hard. There certain aspects of this film I love even better. The witty dialogue is delivered so naturally, and the villains are all people of power, which makes them all the more formidable:)
I'm so glad you guys did a reaction video to this movie, and It might be the only reaction video to this movie on RU-vid. For now, this movie is very simple and a bit childish, but when I saw the VCD of this movie when I was a child, I was very shocked. I still remember it and feel scared.
