THANK YOU. Short and to the point. Not the backstory of how you became the new owner or your grandmas uncles daughters step nieces cousin didn’t have a clue where it was 🤣.
It's Coolaroo, with two Os at the end. It would have been nice if you showed the finished result in its entirety, commented on their effectiveness and if you are happy with them.
It is perfectly legal to remove any unfinished bird nest before eggs have been laid. It is also perfectly legal to remove the nests of non native species such as starlings and house sparrows, which are the ones that do most of the pooping all over the place. It is illegal to remove any active nest (eggs or young in the nest) of native birds. One of the most common birds that builds nests on eaves, is the American robin. They are very clean around the nest, as the parents will carry off poop sacks to prevent predators from locating the nest. If you don't want any birds nesting apply netting or screening, avoid having flat places for them to nest, be diligent and remove nesting material as soon as you notice it, before the nest is built. If you are like me, discourage the pest birds that are invasive non natives (starlings/house sparrows), and welcome birds like robins and bluebirds. Even if you don't want them on your porch, you can build bird boxes and nesting platforms out away from the house, as on garages and out buildings, or put bluebird boxes on posts.
They need to update the MBTA to exclude home owners. It's only for businesses and hunters as they did the most damage to birds. But now it's being used by sociopaths to shun humans who don't want these pest creatures nesting on THEIR home they worked possibly their entire lives to save and buy. No sane human being likes these creatures nesting on their property. All it does is make us spend extra time and money on our own end cleaning up after them. People can't even follow the laws on the road yet they expect us to care for their stupid 100 year old out dated treaty.
Jonah, you saved the day! The kitchen faucet was very loose & when my husband looked at it under the sink he didn't see anything to tighten. We found your video & you showed us exactly what we needed to do. Thank you for saving us from calling a plumber!
I think half the problem with the Myxoids is that they don't really have sacks - in the way most cysts do. So applying pressure to burst the cyst / empty it and keep it empty, so it will go away, does not work. The fluid seems to be contained by the structures around it, but it does seem to have a tail (into the joint). I have just managed to, accidently, burst mine again....Last time it got infected! I hope you find a non-invasive solution that works, and you share it with us 💜
If i find a solution I will definitely share with our viewers. In the mean time I've been going every year to have my doctor burn it out. If you find one, please let us know.
They don’t like them because they know it means less people will call a plumber so they lose money. If they want people to call them they need to stop taking advantage of people.
we've got two places on our front porch (tops of posts) that little birds build their nests every spring. what an unbelievable mess they make! we will certainly try this! thanks
You should purchase a Ridgid EZ change faucet tool it will make that job a lot easier as well as several other plumbing jobs. Thank you very much for the video.
I have always been told to retrieve pool water sample from at least 15-20 inches below the surface and far away from the skimmer and jets. Also, to hold the white side of the paper included in the kit, behind the test kit to see the colors better. Thank you for the video, though. Lovely pool you have. 🙂
Thanks for the efforts, you just saved me a lot of time and money because I was thinking about doing the same thing, my pool is about 16 wide by 36 long so I’m not gonna bother. What I have done in the past and what I may end up doing this year again is I have a blowup Coleman hot tub that I keep in the area by the pool and so what I’ve done in the past years when it was really cold in June is I would fill up the hot tub heat the water to 102° and then use a sump pump and pump it out into the pool and drain water at the same time and then put more water in heat it up, etc. that actually works by raising the pool temperature about 8° which is really about all I need right now.
I just learned today what they are but unfortunately its too late for my evergreens, they destroyed both of them and now all I can do is cut them down. I wish I knew about them before they destroyed them.
Thank you so so so much!! I have joint flareups due to autoimmune diseases that have me dependent on dishwashers now. Well, I just moved and found the puddle after cleaning my dishwasher. So, while my bf's been busy these past few days working on our vehicles, I decided to tackle it myself today following your steps and found the same clog in the last steps. It's fixed now and currently going through cleaning cycles so I can finally do my dishes after this. Thank you!!!!
I have a question I just bought this house and it has a patio a stamped patio in the back the patio in the back. It looks nice but the color is horrible. It looks like a salmon color type paint. Is there a way or I can change the color like alter the color, a different color do they sellpaint for stamp patio. I wanted to change the color on it. Is that possible? And is there a step-by-step process to do that? Thank you.
