After working in the TV & Film industry for a number of years, I left and set up an IT business which grew and grew into double-figure staff and multiple sites. However, I realised that I missed creativity and desperately wanted to get back to the creative field and from there, my passion for landscape photography led me into the commercial side of photography; after 10 years of the IT business, I sold my shares and took my career in the direction of a lifestyle choice which I enjoy every day since starting in 2009. It really is true what they say about not working if you do something you enjoy.
On this channel, I will be covering all things tech; reviews, how-to's, business tips and general chat - over the years I have built up a wealth of knowledge and it's now time to share that, oh and also play with some new tech and let you all know about it.
this was like watching somebody juggle 13 knives and five chainsaws while explaining how easy it is in liturgical slavonic. i'm a photographer with adhd, not a computer scientist. halp
Is there someone who uses this lens with Fuji and has it updated to 1.0.3? When I did that, the MF ring in MF mode is not working. It does work in other modes though.
To be fair, it does especially in low light or low contrast. But I haven't really noticed it in real world use, but I do always tend to have good lighting 😬
I've not got a p950 to try but it just uses the standard firing pin, so I don't see any reason it wouldn't work, and yes you can use for macro, although I do use a bit of card for a home make reflector and you can get a diffuser cover like in the video.
Love it! I've used it loads for filming and it always hits (don't get me wrong I know the limits and how to break it). For photos, it's perfect for me, I use it a lot for street photography and I've never had a duff shot (apart from my skill in composition 🤣)
For me Z30 all the way man over the Z50, cheaper, smaller, lighter, with the 2 kit lenses it is a steal, because of all those reason I just don't care for EVF which for my point of view is useless anyway
It all comes down to the evf, if you want that for your photography then it's the z50. I still use an evf for taking photos and occasionally use the screen.
Sorry Terry, but I just cannot agree with you I live about half an hour away and this was my first visit and can honestly say it will also be my last, to say I was disappointed, is something of an understatement, the only thing going for it was the free entry.
We are sorry you feel this way Geoff but at the end of the day we cannot please all of the people all of the time am affraid. Positive feedback is far outweighing anything negative received for what at the end of the day is a very new photographic show growing and getting better every year so far. Thank you for your time
Hi Terry, we are glad you enjoyed our show this year. Sorry, I didn't manage to catch up with you for a chat. Maybe next year, and I'll make sure I get you a coffee. Please reach our to us with any feedback on how we can make our show even better next year. Let us know what day you are coming so we can ensure we book the Sunny Weather for you kind regards from all the WWPS team.
Hi, Thanks for great tutorial videos. I would like to remove some addresses to maps from the list on both sides, left and right. This is because I have the same map names twice or even three times. I do not find how to do it. A total reset would be the best alternative maybe. In that case how do I reset the whole thing? Thank you for your time. Max
I wanted to thank you for your teachings, I bought the z flip because my life is very busy and my ex cell phones was just falling in the ground every time.I am afraid of something happening with the screen protector, even taking great care, my fear is having to go in Samsung that is double the value of the phoneI live just for the change lol , now I know that if something happens with the screen protector, I can change! Thank you very much, God bless you!!
Thank you for this video. Gave me the confidence to do mine. If I had gone for the free replacement, I would have had to delete all of my data. I've had my phone for nearly a year and didn't want to delete everything. So easy when you know how with this kit.
hello sir, I'm torn between this lens, 24 1.7 and 26 2.8 for nikon z fc, i have z6 ii and S lenses and I'm afraid I won't be satisfied with the picture quality...There is no local store in my city, everything I've bought has been based on reviews and charts...May you tell me your opinion, I would be extremely grateful !🙏
when my first zflip's screen protector started coming off, i forgot it was a factory preinstalled,,, took off and broke the screen, absolutely terrified to replace it myself but don't wanna pay a lot for someone to do this for me
teşekkürler dostum şuan türkiyede çalışıyorum elimde soundcam 2.0 desibel ölçüm cihazı var tripodu rollei marka amirim onu kutusuna koymamı söyledi ve ben onu kutuya nasıl sığdıracağımı bulamadım youtubede ararken senin videonda ayakları ters çevirdiğini gördüm ve sorunumu çözdüm şuan kutusunda 👍👏
Terry, one more quick question. If I have a brand new memory card, do I have to format it first before using? Both manuals that come with the Zf do not mention having to format it first that I can find. The manual does mention how to do it however.
Generally you don't as most (all that I've had) memory cards come pre formatted. But I always do it to make sure the camera is happy with the memory card and there is no excuse for it messing up.
Love your videos on the Zf. I am familiar with film photography from my earlier years when I owned a Nikon FE. I want to purchase a Zf to get into digital photography as a hobby. I can only afford one leans to start. What lens would you recommend? I can bundle a Nikon 24-70mm f/4 Lens or a Nikon 40mm f/2.
Owww difficult choice. Depends what you like shooting, the 40 prime is amazing and I love shooting with a prime like this. But if you like doing a bit of landscape and general then go for the zoom 👍
Not sure what the spec of the charger is, but all mine that work are 60watt or above. Actually I think I did use my 25watt iPad charger. I go for the bigger watt so it charges quicker.
@@TerryLivesey Thanks a lot. I'll see what i can get on amazon. Meanwhile using my ol d750 charger. /.... Saaay, BIG watts won't blow up the batt, right? Thanks again.
I brought mine to a phone kiosk in my local mall and they told me i have to ship it back.to samsung in order for them them to do it lol. They told me it was part of the screen
Thanks for very well done presentation. I downloaded Evoto, purchased 1200 credits and used the software on a headshot session I just did for a client but as much as this seems like a wonderful app, it also reduces the quality of my original photo/headshots. I'm very disappointed because the Evoto software doesn't appear to offer a high res professional look. For example I adjusted a person's skin, removed bags/wrinkles, freckles and stray hair but major parts of the photo, like the ears, person's clothes and my gray backdrop have become very grainy/fuzzy. If I could post a sample of my experience here, I would. I'm really upset with this result.
Wow, I'm surprised you had that result. I've not had any problems with quality per se but I have used these for general headshots, not pixel-peeping for a magazine or gallery shoot. Were you editing from the original raw files? Or exported tiff from lightroom?
@@TerryLivesey Thanks for getting back so quickly. I contacted Evoto a few times but they have not responded to the very same issues I previously described. I'm not pixel-peeping by any means but the result of an Evoto edit with all the amazing things it actually can do is a lot less sharp, a lot less clear. As mentioned it makes a very sharp photo look fuzzy. I'll look at settings/preferences and see if there's anything in missing. I'm really bummed.
@EvotoAI It took over a week to get the correct help but customer support via email looked at my actual photo and saved preset and found the setting for GRAIN turned up to 68. I'm curious though, I both didn't know about the GRAIN setting and how or why was it set to 68 in the first place. It appears solved now. I think Evoto is spot on in doing what it says it can. I have yet to apply and export lots of photos using a preset. I'll report the results once I do.
