Hey, I’m about to cop the yellow ones and I gotta know, on the inside of the show where the holes are, are they hollow underneath? Is that an air unit in the holes?
Hey mate I’m considering doing this to a pair of graffiti’s. I’m just wondering how they’ve aged and whether those green and black boxes from grinding off the centre piece of rubber are the actual air unit or just more rubber? The graffitis are plain white so maybe it wouldn’t be unnoticeable?

@TheDarkleopard I did not leave it jumped, i cant say for sure if it would cause a problem if you left it jumped. I sprayed some pb plaster in the hood latch thinking something was jammed up but it did not fix it. only real way to probably fix it would be replacing hood latch.
Brother we have nearky the same exact car. Lol. Minus a few differences of course. Same wheels, same color, different interior, ours doesnt have a sunroof yet but it is getting starlights here very soon, has long tubes, 3200 stall, TSP 224R cam, tuned, tinted windows, etc...
If you just use the CTS brakes then it will all work fine and you will have upgraded rotors, calipers, pads and lines all the way around. No need to drill out anything. About $700 for everything.
You knocked it out of the park with those rotors and Brembo brakes. My wife and I have an '09 GT with the GXP rear diffuser that I installed after we got the car. Also I know the exact front lip that you're talking about. EZ lip. I'm going to install ours on the front and use some self tapping screws. I had a muffler shop do a Borla catback system with the larger single tips. I do love the quad tips that come from the factory. One day I may switch the tips back to a quad. Your cold air intake is awesome and actually a true cold air. Like you, we are the 2nd owners. I opted for the VCM otr ram air intake system. I installed that myself as well. Other than that the car is pretty much stock. I did use a tuner device to deactivate AFM/DOD. I am going to install new rotors soon, but mine were supposed to be silver like yours, but Summit sent me a lighter gray colored set of rotors. SMH. I may reach out to them and get the silver ones. We're still rocking the factory rims, but I love yours. Do you have Active fuel management/Displacement on demand still active on your G8? Eventually we will have to get the lifters swapped out to do it right. Ours had 47K original miles when I drove it home Memorial Day of 2021. She now has 61K miles on her. Love it love it love it. Such underappreciated cars. Too bad GM killed the Pontiac line.
Hey, I apologize for getting back to you late. Wow 61000 miles it’s nothing. I agree with you that these cars are under appreciated, and usually are not well treated. To answer your question, I completely removed the DOD, this was done when the performance shop (LSX by 360 Performance shop) installed a Texas Speed stage 2 cam with a whole bunch of other goodies.
mine does that from time to time. it could be the sensor Is intermittent when you open the hood and it is running from remote start it shuts the car off
No hate,but i don't see the point doing this. Like this is simply the unique design Virgil did with nike,and i personally think they did an amazing job. I don't think it worth destroying it just to make it more ,,Clean" as some people say. It's like buying a Bmw to replace it with Audi parts. Like if you didn't like the spikes you should just buy a normal shoe,there are millions of shoes with no spikes. But as i said this is just my perspective of seeing this,if u like them with no spikes just wear them and feel free. (also i think that u should black it out ,that really makes them clean 🔥)
Virgil's whole design ethos was diy. He loved when people customised his shoes. He intentionally designed pairs to be customised like the canvas dunks.
I agree. How ever I've got the leather white grim reapers and Iff-White states underneath there is a different colors as if the white and black leather grim Reaper soles are actually hiding something underneath.
@@joshuatroche3166 yeah I ended up jumping mine with some wire after I posted that. The wire was thin enough that I could still click the connector closed. Good enough for me.
@@vikram0608 Yeah mate actually really pleased, they’re actually super comfortable - I never even tried them on foot until after I removed the spikes. I had an idea I was gonna remove the spikes but it’s good to see a video like this and get an insight that it will work out
I used an extremely sharp knife for the spikes and part on the block (mid section of the shoes.) and a small grinder (cutting blade and a grinder/sanding tip).
@@joshuatroche3166what kind of grinder did you use? How much was it? Did you find it easy to do? Also, what kind of brush were you using to wipe off all of the rubber dust?
