I like to think that sometime in their sleep, they scoot close to each other. especially when makoto is crying bc water bubble Haru evaporated. in a way i kinda feel like haru would go close as if to comfort makoto or something. 🥺 and pretty sure that they really did hold hands by the end. damn they're cute.
I just watched this anime and let me say this they are soulmates doesn't matter romantically or not 😪 And if it was a bl, then their relationship would be so healthy
