Throw 1L at an exhaust throw 10L at an exhaust and a stage 3, 4cyl is a 4cyl is a 4cyl..... The 3.2 V6 TT would make this sound like dogshit with just a downpipe on the stock muffler
I would say that the clunky transmission feels more engaging to drive than the butter smooth shifts in the city. It gives a more old-school vibe to it, which, in my personal opinion, is better
4:30 So I have the track pack variant of the 2018 Polestar and yes to the people sitting inside the car, in normal mode, it is quiet. However, in sport mode, this car is anything but subtle in terms of sound on the outside She is an absolute screamer. Mine is tuned to 400hp and 532Nm of torque on a stock exhaust and it is anything but quiet and subtle. It has no rev-drop crackle but you get all the pops, burbles and bangs on the upshifts. And it is far more agressive in terms of performance (even bone stock) vs an M340i I can assure you Soham. 5:12 Unfortunately, this car is anything but compliant (yes it has manually adjustable Ohlins dampers as standard). Maybe the owner has softened the dampers because the bump stiffness is really harsh otherwise. The car feels waaay too taut.
This whole engine sounds is overrared as hell in the cars community. Normal Peopel hate that shit and look down on drivers who fart and make popcorn sounds unnecessarily in streets. An 18 wheeler makes more noise, you wanna drive that ? Normal People rather turn heads with admiration for a good looking well designed and engineered car that has a nice color. Think about it
