Honestly, prolly won't ever buy those calibrators again until i need to cause shit i pretty much lost 5 boopons this month. Boopons are far more valuable mostly because you don't really get anywhere else that involves money.

also, crit rate crit damage is not always bis for all characters. only one fourth of the character types need to crit. stun may want anomaly or atk. defense wants def ratio.
sorry this makes no sense. slot 4 5 and 6 are the greatest rng, meaning you should use you art selector immediately to always select best in slot for the set you want for your character. to state that you should farm first is a paradox, as you can ALWAYS end up doubling your piece. farming is a given, but as you get these discs that let you choose the manin stat, use them right away, because in a damage formua, the best damage is damage u can do immediately.
IMO the most important thing to get is to get the boopons not the tuning you can always whale for disk until you get the stat you want, you can't whale for bangboos and they will definitely add more new faction bangboos
After playing HSR, I've found that these things aren't worth it. You can use 5 modeling resins at the same time and still get shit substats, same with tuning calibrator. Better use the currency for other useful but cheaper items like hifi
Boopon is a way better purchase even basic materials is better than the Tuning Calibrator at this stage of the game. You need multiple Bangboos for different team comps, more than you think you’d need. Tuning Calibrator isn’t a guaranteed upgrade, spending 2k on a gamble while you can get guaranteed upgrades is just a very bad choice
wholeheartedly agree with your points here! the battlepass needs stretch rewards for the most loyal players, and yeah we need better B rank pulls too. hopefullyy the devs will make these tweaks
What I learned from HSR is that getting those selector to fine tune your disk drive is nice and all but just don’t put too much pressure on getting it. While it is very good in the beginning of the game, when we are still lacking on main stat pieces on the correct set, however in late game it’s kinda not too great because trying to get the right sub stat on the right main stat is quite rare. My own experience in HSR, since day 1, I have never gotten the right sub stat using these ever lol.
Tuning Calibrator is not worth it. Imagine you choose Main stat Crit rate but substat you get is HP DEF ATK DEF%... If this happened, you absolutely throw 2000 merits away. I recommend buy something else, you'll lack basic resource at the beginning, because you need to build 2 teams. Disk is your last priority and you'll farm them at the end for the rest of the game anyway. So don't need to rush, and gamble one right main stat disk with 2000 merits.
The Hoyo community has always been obsessed with artifacts even if you tell them that it is better to spend them on other resources or even use the x60 energy items on something other than farming artifacts they tell you that you ruined your account 🙂
B rank W engines definitely feel worse than the low rank rewards in gacha games I played back in the day. The rewards were almost all characters where even the low tiered ones could be foderized for better things
Personally, I think calibrator for 2000 is too expensive. Yeah, you can choose main stat upon crafting disc, but it doesn't save you from trash sub-stats. I would much rather farm it as it is, pray to RNG god for good stats and spend Merits (Green currency) on boopons and other resources. Probably later when most characters/w-engines are level 60 I will get it, but differently not now.
@@YoichiMutou the point of tuners is to be able to get rare main stats easily.. have fun farming for days, when your DPS is almost build and the only thing missing is the Crit Rate main stat on disk 4. thats exactly when you use a tuner. you already have everything you need on your char, but only the one needed main stat on one of the disks 4-6 is missing. you could easily spend weeks trying to get this one needed piece and waste tons of energy while grinding for it or you could use a tuner to craft that 1 missing piece ofc you can end up having bad sub-stats, but having the needed main stat + bad sub stats is still better than not even finding the right main stat. sub-stats are endgame and it takes ages to get a char completely done.. min maxing so early in the game is for sure not the way to go but hey you both do you. i mean these tuner items are only considered to be the most valuable items in these games.. does not matter if HSR or genshin. you get boopons in almost every event and bangboos are not even important... these tuners on the other hand can save days of farming and tons of energy/battery charge
@@Rawzix what exactly are they important for? i still have not pulled a single one and have been playing with the luckyboo we got from the event and the bangboo we got at the start - bagboo or whatever he is called - and yet i am at shiyu defense critical 5 with only 1 5* dps and corin as my second dps thx to horrendous pulling luck giving me rina twice instead of a much needed 2nd dps or at least a 2nd stunner
The tuner is more limited. You can only get tuners in that shop with the boopons and it's five times as expensive with five times fewer available. You can get Boopons elsewhere. Not tuners.
@@virtualmartini Yeah I'm leaning more towards tuner, thinking in terms of stamina efficiency, how long does it take to farm a specific main on specific set, especially for disk 5, could be 60 or 6000 stamina. I think your right with tuner being the right pick, thanks mate 👍
You can clean it the outpost logistics, i think if you do around 10 runs in hollow zero at least at 2500, beat first boss and grab the 20 merits then beat the second boss and grab the 40 merits, then exit hollow zero and do it again (can do it around 5-10 minutes depending on rng). I'm not sure but i think they cap you around 15 runs, then they stop giving you merits (900 total), so i just stop farming hollow zero after that, but I've cleaned out the entire shop and am using the rest to get dennys. Do it before the end of the week because it resets after Sunday. Hope this helps, cheers!

@@FinalStand7 the first zone is the fastest because you can skip so many things to get through it, but to be honest I farmed the zones that I needed the resources for the combat configuration, you get 150 per run because you don't fight the final boss (which would normally give 300 per full run)
@@lavenderwalrus9875 i really hope they copy HSR when it comes to the BP. is so funny that people always act as if genshin was hoyo's only game. adding the additional levels would be nice, feels just so bad to have already finished the BP, but still have 20 days to go. it's the same complaint people had in HSR and - oh lord - the devs listened and changed it and not only did they expand the BP, but they also decided to give the included jades up front and added an additional self-moddeling resin to level 50, instead of the jades. so yeah, would be nice if they did the same in ZZZ. polychromes up front right when you buy the BP, expansion to level 70 and an extra calibrator. but i also would not be surprised if a change like that would not be implemented right away, since i am very sure they want to keep the players on a tight leash when it comes to resources like dennies so early in the game
they will change it like star rail eventually. star rail used to be like genshit bp too and they revamped it. ZZZ devs listened a lot to the players unlike genshit devs, so stop comparing this game to genshit lmfao
@@zacziggarot of course it's a part of the trap but these gachas tend to have rerolls on banners eventually so my main concern is to get to lvl 50. If I miss one of the S rank banners I'll just wait till it comes back
My unluckyness carries on from genshin to zzz, im at the soft pity point but still don't get any s ranks, the only real s rank i got was grace, but that was hard pity so..
I understand the idea behind just being happy with what you have in order to curb excess spending (or spending at all) but my personal experience has taught me I prefer to have the character with their signature equipment because that is how the character is intended to exist. In some cases you're actually playing a different game without it, and that sucks. Back in HSR, when Fu Xuan released I tried to use her without her sig lightcone but she just kept getting slaughtered in virtually every fight. The instant I pulled for her LC (the last day it was up), her performance skyrocketed and she became a staple on every team until Gallagher came out. I avoid spending though so I won't pull for a character unless I have enough to pity both. It means I skip a whole patch usually but I still manage to stay relatively meta.
I'm sorry to tell you but your fu xuan was most likely incredibly, horribly, and horrendously built. Like in what universe is the 2nd most versatile damn near immortal support getting "slaughtered" in every combat scenario? Did you not build HP or where you not using her ultimate at all? If the strongest support at the time of release was getting slaughtered in "virtually every fight" how tf were 4 star supports faring for you then?😅 You are either overexaggerating or you just don't know how to build characters. Both of which are understandable. But don't push the narrative of "My personal experience" when you obviously didn't even try to make your experience more bearable. I'm genuinely confused as to how people push the NEED to pull for a characters sig when, in most scenarios, f2p options literally offer similar results with less cost. Imo you sound like the average gacha dolphin who can't take the time to build a character, learn their mechanics and make accurate spending decisions based on their experience. So they use money to solve their problems while pushing their own narrative on other players who can't afford to do it or are too smart to fall for the BS. Its not being happy with what you have, its being smart with what you have and making the most of it with least amount of money spent. Though I do understand that this is your experience and this is how you feel, as I've felt the same way about acheron. But fu xuan was a really bad example ngl...

I don't need to explain myself to you but my Fu Xuan has been built with full HP, speed boots, and 40% defense substats on hackerspace/longevous since the very beginning. Her LC providing such a huge boost to her hp and Regen rate is a big deal; running Regen instead of HP rope meant you have dramatically less HP for survivability, and bosses/minions rack up a ton of damage to the point it's not uncommon for her to die before she can refresh her self heal. Running HP instead of Regen meant she survives longer but is even slower to ult so your teammates are more likely to die, which is also not uncommon with Tingyun for example. Her lightcone eliminates all of that dilemma AND on top of that recovers HP on new waves, which helps tremendously with survivability. I spent her entire banner trying to run her with other lightcones and she just was giving disappointing performance. The moment I got her sig she did a complete 180, no changes to equipment whatsoever. If you think I somehow claimed players NEED to pull for LC you need to pull your head out of your butt and reread with the perspective you aren't the smartest one in the room. They can completely change how certain characters work and I made the personal decision to only pull when I can go for both; this helps me from having to grind for every character and drive myself insane. I'm much happier with a smaller pool of maximized units than I would be with every character, no resources, and endless grinding. Strategically skipping updates also means I don't have to spend any money at all most of the time. Hopefully you learned something ✌️
40-49 is pure trap just farm it for early shiyu. However at lv50 you have chance to get something like main cridmg with sub1 cridmg sub2 crirate similar to wuwa. My whale friends also said cri sub stat drop rate is a little bit higher at 50 too.

I didnt even realize her core passive had a different requirement than the rest of the characters in the game. Kinda weird they're already doing this on like the 2nd character release. I was literally just going to run her with Nicole cause they were both Ether but turns out it was actually only working cause Nicole is a support loll
I pulled for her engine because she deserves it Also the starlight engine is just worst I have both but its 20 to 30% dmg diff. The comoarison on most CCs are if both have the same stats but thats not the case all the time. Brimstone is good but it has its downtime it was compared if passives are on max stacks but that will not be the case. Overall shes a good f2p character
