The algorithm is strong with this one. They know I’m geeking on OBSBot (I’m guessing this is the OBSbot Tail Air.) They know I geek on food. Sub for you, my dude.
higher protein is the answer to many things. and yeah, eating a lb of steak or chicken will definitely keep you full and it will only cost 400-500 calories depending on the meat
This is great advice Ranbir, and as you said, it’s not always malicious. But it is our responsibility to think for ourselves. My take on it is that someone’s method has to make complete sense to me before I buy in. I may not be an expert in their field but if they can’t explain to me how it’s going to work in a way that my brain can understand and accept, I’m not buying in. So simply saying “xyz is bad for you, because I said so, because I’m a doctor” - well, eeeeeh.
100%, taking personal responsibility is really the cornerstone of all this. Without that, you're exploitable. although with the second piece, I think if I'm coming into a new field, I may not be able to understand any of the nuance as a beginner. the rule of thumb that I use is whether or not I think they're a good person (will not work with anyone who's rude or mean - no matter the skill level). and then if they can explain things simply like you said.

What I love that this presentation notes is that...a person whom is lifting and measuring their VOLUME can and should also increase their (real food) consumption, so that--in the future--the muscular weight gain will compensate for and allow greater weight loss; thus why weight training works so well.
this was super helpful! would you suggest taking casein during the later half of the day? I have been told its best right before going to bed for optimal digestion since its broken down slower
So you can’t really ever know how much oil they use. Which is why making your own food is the BEST option if you want to be accurate and get best results. And you actually weigh and measure oils over and over. Then you have the insight to make better guesses when you eat out.
