@Slampiece88 The beavertail adds additional storage capacity to the outside of your Nomad. It's a removable flap that connects at the bottom-front of the pack and the top-front of the pack. It can also be stowed away when not in use. The beaver tail has a zippered pocket and is great for hauling bulky items like helmets and puffy jackets. And since it covers the PALs panel on the front, the beaver tail is great for hiding your MOLLE attachments from prying eyes. Hope that answers your question.

So i just bought the six mag pocket version not bad havent had a chamce to field it more than knce so far how am wondering amy thoughs on a way to iprobe the back stap it seems rather large im 250 and i has alot of access and is rather thin have been thinking about maybe sewing in somthing amy suggestions

You guys want to make money with this idea of a backpack? Make it waterproof and a faraday cage and you will have something special especially if you can make it cheaper than the other ones that are similar.
question, I have not been able to find an answer to. Have you tried wearing a backpack over this hydration without the bladder? Say you need to wear a back pack so you pull out the bladder put it in the pack and sling it over, would this hydration unit flatten down enough to still be comfortable? Thanks.
I have had this pack for over 10 years back when they made it in MARPAT or something very close. I used it for everything and was very rough on it, and the only problem it had is that late last year, the top mesh zipper in the main compartment just crapped out. Not too bummed as I can still use the pocket it if I need to. The main zippers are much tougher though. I have had it bursting at the seems almost, many times(including now) and it always seems fine. All the compression straps are still perfect. Last year I really wanted a smaller bag for daily use. So I bought the medium modular assault pack in olive drab. I haven't had it as long as the other, but I have had it stuffed and it still seems like the same type of bag I have had for over 10 years. I know it is an imported bag, and I really do go out of my way to not purchase things like that. But inflation has decimated everyone. So for something like this, I have obviously bent the rules as they make good stuff for the price.
