Has anyone actually inserted the Condor Zipper in to and got it to function in the Pocket?

I just got this from Venture Surplus and it does not have the same clips on the shoulder straps as this one in the video. Honestly, I can’t see how this thing even goes together. You can’t attach the shoulder straps because it came with female clips at the end of the straps…but the clips on the cummerbund are also female clips. Im super bummed I bought this, what a waste of money.
