Barb is probably in the cryosuites in the basement of Tops casino (at least according to the billboard in the credits sequence). Vault 21 used to connect to the Tops (and maybe the Lucky 38 as well) but the tunnel network was largely filled in by Mr. Robert House (the mustachioed CEO of RobCo)
Yes Barb is powerful she is part of senior management. NO Barb is absolutely not in 31 it is for management trainees, Barb is no trainee. Lucys mom was born in vault 33. I'm hoping Norm just kicks the crap out of Bud, robo brains are fragile. The Griffith observatory is the Head Quarters of the New California Republic.
Yes, Barb is higher up in the Vault-Tec management, if you notice, she looks at her Pip-boy then up to the shadowy figure and takes over the meeting. If you remember in a previous episode Ms. Williams (AKA Moldaver) tells Cooper that his wife's (Barb) division came in and bought up all of the companies she worked for in her research on Cold Fusion. It was probably Vault-Tec's plan to drop the bomb first, but not until they were ready. It's believed that someone else (probably China) who dropped the bombs. Moldaver is also from the era before the bombs dropped, she probably was able to get into a cryo chamber when or before the bombs went off.
I am not sure that Barb saying they will drop the bomb first means that is how it happened. It is possible that Vault Tec planned to do that, but was not quite ready when the actual nuclear war broke out. Maybe season 2 will clear that up.
Based on a video that recently came out, there are talks of using real life Goodsprings a shooting location for season 2. A very tiny town *VERY* dear to the fans of Fallout New Vegas, and host of an annual Fallout fans meetup. Might want to play or watch Fallout New Vegas before the next season, to get a feel for what *might* be coming. Even if dated, it's considered the best Fallout game ever made wrt roleplay mechanics, checks, factions, and characters.
Looks like the only way to play it on PS5 is to stream it which might be interesting, but would be cool to play it as I (Caz) never played Vegas back in the day
@@GamingAfterBedFallout New Vegas has a fantastic story line, so it it popular with many players and I played it a few times. The only problem is the ancient graphics that eventually turned me off to the game. I would also suggest Fallout 4, also very popular with much better graphics but more of a shooter, settlement building game that has dogmeat as a great companion. With multiple endings as well and good story line, it is also good, albeit not as good as the New Vegas story line game. I would suggest both. Thanks for posting your reaction… it was great watching your facial reactions as everything came together. Great job!
To be fair, Norm in his current situation can’t be called a coward, as if it’s between dying a slow painful death by dehydration and starvation, the only logical choice, would be to get in a cryotube. Also, as Chet and Norm were separated by vaults, and they couldn’t communicate anyhow, there’s no reason Chet would be able to come looking for him, let alone know he went missing really.😢
The last thing I would do is follow Buds advice. I think Norm is the same, and he has the technical knowledge to hack all the electronics and probably the door controls. I bet he’ll leave the brain unable to control his own movements.
I strongly suspect that robobrain Bud mentioning very large bugs as the only thing to eat in Vault 31 was not just a throwaway line. If large bugs can get in, perhaps someone of small stature could get out the same way.
Nice to see your improvement over the course of the series! You went from running from Shimura's tutorial to facing them head on. One word of advice I want to give for combat is that rolling away is actually not the best move most of the time. Its good for giving yourself some distance if a situation gets too hot, but youre in a stronger position if you stay close to the enemy. Just like parrying, you can easily combo a dodge and strike. Just got to keep your cool and watch the enemy's movements, and youll be good.
Love the Shakespearean ending: 'All hale Maximus (Macbeth), who shalt be knight (king) hereafter!' Thank you for sharing your reaction to the series. Nicely done! 👍
Great call on the poisoning of the raiders. I think you are spot on and Steph may also be involved. Regarding ghouls, you are right on again…the Brotherhood despises these so called abominations, as well as super mutants and the creatures, as well as synths in Fallout 4, which I continue referring to because you played that game. Also, did you notice that Vault 31 does NOT have a control panel to open the vault, while Vault 32 and 33 can open each others Vaults? Now for the BIG question…when will you post the final episode??? Your channel is one of the best I have seen for Fallout and I cannot wait to see your reactions☺️. Great job!
Thanks so much! 🥰 I’ve finally finished editing the last episode, so that’ll be up for patrons and YT members today I hope, then on the channel in a few days!
A bit of history since you were talking timelines. The bombs dropped in the first episode on October 23, 2077. You can verify that when playing the game, as there are calendars throughout the game, one on the side of your refrigerator in Sanctuary Hills in Fallout 4. It shows October, 2077. Fallout 4 was based on the year 2287, 210 years after the bombs dropped. This series is 219 years after the bombs, making it 9 years after Fallout 4 and the year 2296. You already saw the next few episodes, so you saw the timeline for Shady Sands. It showed on the blackboard 2277 for the fall of Shady Sands and then the picture of a bomb. The single bomb actually dropped on Shady Sands in the year 2281, which was left off the blackboard but later clarified and verified by Bethesda Games to keep the series Canon to the game series timeline. In summary, bombs dropped in October 23, 2077, a single bomb was dropped on Shady Sands 200+ years later (the downfall shows 2277) but the bomb picture was missing the date of 2281 under it and Bethesda verified this mistake for the series on youtube to keep the series canon to the games. Maximus only remembers his Shady Sands bomb drop…the BoS doesn’t educate their squires in this history.
Talk about hitting it out of the park! I was so waiting for this moment The "Ending" of the Mongul General Was so Extremely Satisfying!! They couldn't have possibly nailed it any harder if they tried! This game is a Masterpice There's so many other moments and much more to come... Btw You absolutely crushed it this time Really good!👍👍
i love that you guys are such a cute couple and im glad youve just played this the part 1 remaster is just as good as the original im betting ive held out on it but your reactions aswell as mine were so pure to back when i was 11 in 2013 im 22 ive got ellies tattoo as a male but this is and always will be my favorite game of all time then bioshock lol
As always: I love the two of you and your crazy reactions ;) but guys, 28:09 you missed the "dogmeat" reference. Like I said though, the crazy predictions, and the leap-frogging theories are amazing.
Why does everyone think the ghoul is eating Sandra, he clearly has chicken on his plate. Cold fusion is a power source. The people in vault four are sweeties. They are not continuing the experiments. The vault four people are looking after the test subjects from two hundred years ago. All the mutated people are descendants of the original test subjects. The video they showed Lucy has the overseer Hawthorne like in the Ad for vault four.
At least 219yrs have passed, as for the Ghoul lasting 28yrs, that’s just since he became a Ghoul, but he’s been alive for more than 219yrs by the current timeline. There clearly has to be some kind of cryo going on, for anyone to have lasted since the first bombs. I’m new to this show, have never heard of the games, but I’ve gotten that much info. Also, the guy who said he wasn’t going to the new vault, was just having a moment of panic, being separated from the only vault he’s known,so pretty sure that was nothing more than panic. I do 100% believe Betty is the one who had the raiders poisoned though, she just used Norms words to get it done.
I did not find anything divisive about this masterpiece of a sequel. Those that don’t appreciate it simply is a projection of their own shortcomings, such as lack of empathy to understand other characters. These people are a disgrace to the human race and are simply fake fans rooting for main characters. Sorry, in the real world, main characters die.
So many delightful distractions in this game...I couldn't guess how many times I'd set my destination to a point across the map and I wouldn't get there for days because of all the stuff in between. A minor tip because I did the same thing that you did - the traveler armor is useful for finding collectibles because the controller rumbles when you get close, but when the fighting picks back up, it's good to remind yourself to switch to something more protective. Zero deaths!
The "Kiryu never kills" meme is not because he never kills anyone but because we all know how hundreds of goons were left half-dead or even dead throughout his journey, especially those objected to his heat actions. So, while Kiryu and those around him believe that he has never killed anyone, he is actually standing on a mountain of corpses and vegetables, which is pretty funny.
Oh running to that terrorist mule camp with inadequate gear and almost dying immediately while spraying your few bullets to air was a total shit show, but so entertainin lol. :'D
hey, its such a joy to know that you guys are still doing great. i thought you major ff veterans wouldn't do a playthrough for FF7 rebirth like the other veteran like maximilian dood, etc :D . Best wishes to you guys !!!!
Thaddeus removed the fusion core and used his key to lock Maximus in. Otherwise, even without a fusion core, you can enter/exit power armor. The key locking bit is new and particular to the show. Though it makes sense, you wouldn't want your power armor stolen while you are away from it.
It certainly is not a happy story type of game, yet, it is a wonderful game, don't you think? If you helped more people, like Duckie, the council meeting scene would have been quite different. Just so you know... Great playthrough, all the same.
