I loved the DLC. The omega fight is amazing and the music is just bopping. Not sure if you guys already knew about it, but the DLC also addded this thing called "inner voice" when you view the relationship graph wth Vivian. It basically tells you what each character is thinking as well as what they think about others during each stage of the story. It is a lot of fun! (I recommend checking out Torgal's inner voice. Best boi!)

Who else thinks that soken can’t be stopped with phase 2 and 3 music of the omega boss especially winning best soundtrack/ost of 2023 at the game awards

I’m definitely thinking the same way as Sherbs, with who survived and who died. When Clive is laid there we definitely see him start to turn to stone and there’s no coming back from that right? Though yes I would love it if they all survived. That would be epic. I thought the same it does sound like Chris York. Could be him I haven’t seen anything anywhere to say it’s him or not though.

Omega battle is still my most favorite battle in FF14 raid. In my opinion, they did well with mixing difficulties with good challenge. All that was present in FF16. Even the theme was a rearrangement of the raid theme. I was so ecstatic when I did the DLC for the first time.

I will recommend you guys to please watch a summary of god of war before jumping on to the dlc so that you understand most of the references and and have a better experience.

did you manage to play Nier replicant and automata? if not, I would like to suggest you to play it. It is really a special experience. These are amongst the best games I've ever played.

We both got the platinum on Automata (Sherbs did it the proper way, I bought some of the trophies in-game). Never got round ti Replicant, thanks for reminding me!

Glad you guys enjoyed the dlc, but I do agree that I felt like they could have done more with Famiel and his people. They sort of just fuck off at the end and don't even come back to the hideaway lol It would be dissapointing if they were one-and-done characters. But i loved all the extra Fallen Ruins stuff so I got what I wanted and that Omega boss is no joke on Final Fantasy Mode. I was LVL95 and he had an insane amount of HP and would take off chunks of health with each hit + no potion refills😅 Trying to stop that Dimension Compression ultimate at the end took a couple of attempts but it was epic💪😎

This DLC was awesome! Great music, great boss battles, some good lore😊really enjoyed it. And it just cost €10! Looking forward to Rising Tide already.

Would you guys ever consider playing FF XIV for the channel? I know it’s a MMO but the story is incredible and I know you guys would love it being as big of FF fans as you are.
