Mercedes must really want you to destroy the battery quickly so they can sell you a new one. Letting the car go below 10% and then charge above 80% is the worst you can do to a cars batterypack.
Is the side step standard or option in the suv version? I am about to order one with 3rd row. Seats leather or the MB Tex?lot of reviewers don’t care for side step as it not wide enough to easily step on for guys especially. Also, did you get the acoustic package (quieter cabin)? Buyers who has it saying it’s a must have.
Running boards are optional. I personally don't care for them. Leather is worth the upgrade. Also add MB-Tex to the dash, definitely worth the $350. Yes on the acoustic pack. Double pane glass and added insulation.
They are lovely vehicles, But with the depreciation on them one really take a hit. Maintenance and electrical issues can take time as well. To lose 40 k in eighteen months would make a person question his motive. Thats a few vactions to the islands. My eyes are big, but pockets not so much. Thanks for me reasoning because I typed some sence into myself.
I bought my wife the 2021 AMG GLE 53 Coupe. She loves it but I don't. The Coupe has low door opening and I have a difficult time entering this SUV, I keep hitting my head. I have to bend my neck/head just to get into this damn car. I am only 5'8". Only car model in my life that I have so much difficulty to get in, it is unbelievable. My advice is if you plan to buy the Coupe version then test it at the dealer before deciding. The non-coupe version does not have the problem. The Coupe does look sportier, which what my wife likes, but the standard (non-Coupe) version of the AMG GLE 53 4Matic SUV does not have this issue, BUT.....the Coupe is $7K more......ouch.....just to have a slanted rear but also has smaller rear area.
Making a coupe SUV is like getting a Maybach with a 1.5 Liter Eco Boost Engine. It's a huge fail. Never understood the coupe SUVs. Beside the fact that there is zero space in the back, it's... well, ugly.
@@danvalicek Like for real if you want a coupe you don't buy an SUV that's an absolute non sens, if you want a coupe that looks sportier you buy a C63 coupe an m4 or a 911 it will be way better looking than a coupe suv and you will also have no confort and room in the back. Also the goal of a sport car is to go fast so there is no point of having a car with more than 2000kg and it will also grip less well the road as it sits higher
Mine came seriously in need of a wax job. Make sure this car gets hit with a buffer ASAP. These cars sat outside in port or at the factory for a long time.
