Very much about "the tug is the drug" always has been no matter what sort of fishing you're about although will never ever forget the first and only time on a 15 foot Salmon fly rod up on the Ness after years of trying 😮😮
Top quality as always! The opening scene of the lake and the silence…idyllic comes to mind! Really soothing throughout and some cracking crucians! Happy holidays! Have a good one 🍻
@@amomentintimechannel1315 you take me back to a time when there was style and grace within in angling , like passion for angling or anglers corner with Bernard Venables.. I find the modern stuff on RU-vid with the obnoxious music , misleading titles and thumbnails and screaming people just horrid..so I really appreciate this channel
Good stuff Bruce , as always brilliant videos, i think i am like yourself i prefer the relaxation of fishing and being in the great outdoors as opposed to tge competitiveness.. Greetings from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
Not really my passion Dan, the occasional foray is fun and the social bit is great but I much prefer to relax when fishing. Hope all is well with you mate 👍
That is very kind, possibly because I don't chase people to "subscribe" or " like" I just rely on people's judgement about what I'm doing and whether they enjoy it 👍
If you’re after big Roach Bruce, you should try the Tweed just above the bridge at Coldstream. Many years ago we used to regularly get 1.5-2lbers there ledgering maggots in the slack water. Was free then, don’t know if it still is, or even if the Roach are still there in numbers. Worth checking out all the same.🤷♂️
Popular opinion appears to be that the Roach are no longer there Lol, more likely they don't want foreigners invading. Derwent for me for the Roach hunt I think? 👍
Awful shame if they’ve gone, had some clinkers out of that stretch. Been to Strawberry Fields today, had a few nice Carp, and sussed out how to get the better Roach! Piece of Bakers dog biscuit in a size 14 and a waggler. Fish a chuck it was! Not huge, but 6oz ish, sure to be some better ones in there, they are growing nicely (as are all the small Carp, it’s lifting with them!)
Lovely net of Roach Bruce, very enjoyable video, and time for me to get on the Thames with the whip fising with hemp and tares, so let me get that sorted, all the best mate, and keep them coming...when you can.
Thank you Clive, glad that you enjoyed it. Long long time since I fished the Thames, Datchet area, caught my first Pike in the Thames. Tight lines with the Roach mate 🤞🤞
Bruce what I realise from your fishing venues and areas is how poor and how far you are from decent rivers and still waters. Aren’t you tempted to sell up and move further south
Never going to happen Stephen, I moved from the south many years ago and there is no way I wold consider heading back, there's more to life than fishing and the quality of life is immeasurably better in this neck of the woods mate
I've not know a summer like it. Good on you for getting out and catching. Too easy to stay indoors waiting and waiting and waiting for the rain to stop. Thanks for sharing
Watching this mate, I feel so much better, my day yesterday, did not go to plan, but its not always about the fish, its just the...being there, loved this very much.
Oh mate dont even go there lol, well done on the video, lovely job, great opening, very enjoyable, well done, same with my fishing up and down down lol, but we will be fine, all the best, and look after yourself.
im afraid bruce if that jet stream dosent move were in for a very wet summer....but it hasnt dampened my sessions when im on the bank..ive had a few!....tight lines....
Everybody i speak to,says they've had a poor season so far with the unsettled weather, myself included.I always enjoy your blogs though,if your catching or not.....
Hello Bruce, glad you had a great holiday, lovely place, very relaxing video mate, welcome back to a crazy weather here, warm cool, warm cool, love places like this.
Well that has to be the shortest video you’ve ever made Bruce!😮 Gotta be in it to win it, cup of coffee in the hand normally gets me a bite when it’s quiet too-and I miss it😂
nice common bruce....im doing the same bruce until the rivers open!....i had a ten fish mad session...all doubes a few days ago! ...on the new pro stim liver boilies from cc moore...tight lines ...
Hi Bruce lm a barbel angler and fish for anything big in the closed season on ponds and lakes. I recently bought an ESP Mega method feeder and mould the smallest being 2oz. They are great as they have a rubber grommet which acts as a bolt rig before becoming running. I fish one rod and have had a field day catching big carp Just a suggestion for you
Thanks for reaching out Stephen, you make it sound all so easy🤣 A large method ball of pellet and corn has worked for me on the park lake as well. Tight lines mate 👍
Well done on the park common, tricky little water being 3 feet deep, but anyway job done, im off tomorrow on the lake I fished last week, target 6lb + Tench, have a good weekend.
@@amomentintimechannel1315 After watching this for a second time, I went fishing yesterday and had some nice Tench and some other stunning fish, you inspired me, new video up tomorrow tight lines.
