The judges are crazy..this was hella dope they are comparing it to much to the original they are not the jackson 5 they are the sonos and they did a perfect version for who they are. This song has Been in my head and on my playlist since i heard it and will forever stay! And the album version is even better... Good job!!!
It's being 11 years, and I still say this: They got robbed! they were top 3 performers on that season. I know Pentatonix were unbeatable, but I liked more the boys from BYU than the Darmouth Aires which were second
I think I understand why this group went home after this because even though this is actually AMAZING - they are an entertainment group, more visual than audio - whereas the other groups are more audio entertainment as well as having the visual entertainment, which is of course needed for concerts and whatnot. Other than a couple songs, they do have a more generic sound than the remaining groups do... Not on this one - but their other performances.
It's probably because I do not enjoy rap music - but honestly didn't enjoy this - but having said that, I understand the talent in this group because if I could turn off the rap, that was a killer beat created by people - which is where I was really impressed. I mean the rap wasn't that impressive but you know it was okay other than he was able to keep on the beat with his group.
I generally thought the Aires were fairly overrated. They had good moments, but too many tempo and other issues to have made them a finalist. However, 1:37-1:47 may have been the coolest 10 seconds that season.
I was absolutely obsessed with watching this over and over again when i was little, and i remember asking my mom if i could get a haircut like the guy singing XD
