My ultimate aim for this channel is to broaden the information around the bus industry as a whole. Provide an insight into the life of a bus driver and hopefully even inspire others into the career.
We will eventually own a bus project but that maybe a year or two away. Hopefully get some land where you the subscriber can have a look and go of the vehicle.

Anyways, I liked the Coach Bus. I rode the Bus in riding in Years! I hope I'm so glad that I want to work the Job when I wanted to be 18 in the Year on 2026. But, I loved the Video.

Wow, it's just crazy seeing how many people are saying how amazing B10BLE's were (which they defo are) and that most of them we're retired for them ages ago. Fortunately for me down here in Newcastle Australia, I managed to catch one of the last 2 in service Volvo B10BLE's 2 days before they were withdrawn from service. I'm quite glad that I filmed the ride and uploaded it on my channel. Although i wasn't quite a lucky with filming our B10B's that were retired earlier than expected back in 2020 due to the pandemic, now those were bloody great buses, smooth gearbox, but a lovely engine.
mate come down to Melbourne Victoria. there is like hundereds of B10BLEs out that ether do route service or rail replacement. B10Ms arnt really used anymore but there are also heaps of B10Ls around here too which do rail replacemnet.
These guys are taking a great deal of pride in their craftsmanship and putting together a very good product. I don't really know of many local areas around the UK that doesn't use Optare vehicles. What's more is that it's money going back into the British economy at a time when it's really needed especially when you consider the nonsense that is Brexit and the likes.
My local depot in Great Yarmouth retired their last 3 51 Plate ALX400s in 2022. I believe First Eastern Counties still have 3 2003-2005 models in operation 1 in Lowestoft and 2 in Ipswich
No wonder a lot of people in the bus community hate these so much. For me I think Streetlites are ok buses. I know sometimes they fuck up but can’t give it Major hate
I remember when the County Motors of Lepton 'low bridge' double deckers used to go down Newgate Mirfield under the railway bridge. When going slightly too fast and hitting a bump the roof scraped the bridge!

I love your Videos I've recently applied to Lothian Buses as a trainee bus driver i have passed by Theory , Hazard Perception and cpc Module 2 and due to start practical training on the 21st any tips you can share with me on passing :) Thanks for the videos
I've been riding the buses since the 90s but never had the opportunity to check out a lot of the local Halifax routes but since I was always curious about the terminus of this route (it seemed bizarre to use such an insignificant street name (Stephens Close) as the advertised destination) I'm really happy to see that somebody recorded this route! I always knew it as the 534 and would regularly see Leyland Olympians on the route which would surely have been a fantastic experience!
Update: After viewing the entire video I have a few questions. I know Halifax is known for unusually placed bus stops, but at 08:41 the stop is way beyond the point of the right turn. I believe the route originally continued farther down that road before doing a turn and coming back up to make the sharp turn, but after two decades perhaps they could move the stop a few yards lower? Also, two bus stops at Stephen's Close? 🤔
could you do some of it without the fast moving stuff i wanna watch what your doing etc im not inspired otherwise lol ( former bus driver looking to go back )
Great video! I’m the odd one out as I love streetlites! Especially with the Cummins euro 5. Travel on them with D&G in Crewe every day and I love them. I’d even go as far to say they are my favourite bus! Fantastic video :)
Great videos. I start bus driver training for Arriva Wakefield on 21st Feb 23 I'm looking forward to it. Maybe not the theory test as there seems tons of questions you have to get right.
My Grandmother, born in Marsden, moved to Metham when she married my Grandfather. Lived in the house between the bakery and church on greens end road and then bought a new build on pavillion way in 2000. Great memories of summers and half terms in Meltham
Did you know: the 200 MMC Does come with the B6.7 according to the spec sheet, but this engine configuration is often overlooked for whatever reason. Maybe it’s due to the fact that the UK doesn’t have that many hills so it doesn’t really need the B6.7s a lot, or maybe the 4.5 can somehow handle stop and go traffic even though it’s Max hp is 210.
