@@ThatYorkshireBusDriver Then they should have gotten the B6.7 Enviro 200 MMC. Those things produce more torque & horsepower or Kilowatts resulting in a higher acceleration speed

Did you know: the 200 MMC Does come with the B6.7 according to the spec sheet, but this engine configuration is often overlooked for whatever reason. Maybe it’s due to the fact that the UK doesn’t have that many hills so it doesn’t really need the B6.7s a lot, or maybe the 4.5 can somehow handle stop and go traffic even though it’s Max hp is 210.

buses run all day from 5am until midnight, thats a lot of fuel. If the bigger engine is not needed, they'll opt for the smaller and save the fuel.

First bus are now following in the footsteps of Stagecoach by ordering new buses with Voith gearboxes. I much prefer MMC E200's with Allison gearboxes as they are unrestricted.

Epic video as always Shaun. Hope you ok in the heatwave. It's real hot in Kent the bus was like a furnace when I was going home from volunteering at the hospital so I gave the bus driver a bottle of water. Hope you have a great evening. 🚍👍🏻😎🌞

@@ThatYorkshireBusDriver I'm struggling with the heat. Yep I always give the driver a bottle of water on a hot day if I have one spare in my Walker. I feel sorry for bus drivers in the heat coz I been told the cab can get like a sauna. Hopefully it cool down soon. There ment to be thunder later. Even though I dont like storms we need one to clear the air. 😰⛈😊👍🏻

I drove a 2015 version and I think they're awful. The shape is ugly....DESIGNED BY THE INDUSTRY FOR THE INDUSTRY.

They've had these quite a while, they've also had e400s a while and used to have e200s for the "FreeBee" service. ADL isn't really new for First South Yorkshire.
