Hi, i have the issue that one of the latches won't release al the way. The other one does. The roof does open when it it not to hot outside, but when it IS hot, it won't. Giving the latch a tug (bit further open) and i can open the roof.... do i need to check somewhere for binding? or do i have to lubricate someting?

You bought the loudest version they sell. dB killer could be seen in your unboxing video. It is the little pipe held in by the screw at the back of the silencer. Other models are quieter, but all come with dB killers 🤷 They look to ship with the medium, but they also make a 'hard' which quiets it down a bit. I was sceptical you didn't have a dB killer because you called the mounting bolt and spacer a dB killer in the unboxing. I'm guessing you did not buy the homologated version as I was looking for the welds on the dB killer, but there weren't any.

Thank you! My B7 RS4 isn't making noticeable noises running, but it needs a clutch and I came across lots of threads on the DMF including one with a welded up bellhousing after the flywheel broke!. Turns out that's not uncommon so at 2am this morning, I ordered a new oem Lux flywheel from Rock Auto who have all the oem supplier parts for everything and somehow their less-than-a-week shipping to NZ is crazy cheap . *But the thing that made me comment is that while mine's quiet in use, rocking the car forward and backwards in gear makes a horrendous noise that I'm relieved to learn is IDENTICAL to the sound you recorded under the car, so thanks so much for sharing this, I thought it was my trans!*
No disrespect to the person who did this video, but he has absolutely no idea how to clean a fabric convertible roof. I just hope that nobody follows these instructions, because you will be ruining your fabric.
I have a problem with my w211 2008. When i turn the engin on the ac fan runs perfectly. Then the battery warning comes on. Then the fan runs very low. Would this problem go away if i changed the battery?
Hey my w211 2006 is in the same situation. Were you able to find the solution to this? I replaced the aux. battery and the main battery is relatively new. Fuses seem fine.
@@liujoseph4806 yes sir i found the solution. After changing the alternator to a used suitable one. I changed the cable in the main battery that connects to the body.the problem of the low blower motor went away but i still have a weak battery.
I had the same snapped part. I’ve replaced it and the roof claw closes. However it still won’t open/unlatch on this side past the sunroof setting.. anything else I need to check/do?
When the top is completely closed, did you push the hook properly in? It needs to be in firmly. I'll create a follow up video on diagnosing these issues.

Where I live, inland of Western Australia, it is the heat that we contend with instead of the cold. There is never the nead to have salt on the roads. Sounds like trash best bet is to cut your exhaust an jus straight pipe it from like backseats back it’s amazing an if it’s to loud get a muffler or a glass pack to dampen
there is no quick way to do this, wet an area, scrape it off as much as you can with your finger nail, then a nylon nail or detailing brush, then a tooth brush as the nylon used gets smaller. it's just a case of many days or weeks of work. you have to put your back into it, period.......

Your Dutch accent is so clear brother! Alles goed? I have this same warning on my w211 but randomly my interior lights get bright and then return to normal. Is this the alternator? I have no idea how to fix this. Please help
Out of the batch 500e none of them has issues with the main battery, otherwise I would have replaced it. Maybe it will come, but the reliability so far is great. Range however is a joke in 2024.
