Healthcare in Germany? At first try to find a family doctor, in some cases it may take you more than a year. But this is not the worst thing, because the worst thing is to make an appointment after all which may take you months. About punctuality. Germans are quite unpunctual, as is their public transport. I hope the reason behind this is their public transport... Germans are quite unfriendly, but I can't say that this applies to Berlin as well.
Ludwigshafen. Ludwigshafen got crowned as the ugliest city in Germany (by the satirical TV show extra3). I have actually been there on a beautiful spring morning and thought "This places sucks!" So yes, as a German, I think it deserves its spot among the ugliest cities. Shout out to everyone in Gießen, Saarbrücken, Wuppertal, Neumünster and Siegen. My condolences!
In my opinion these are the cons of living in France that you missed: -Low wages and high taxes. Also relatively high cost of living in Paris and the southern coast. -School system and early career are tough and not for everyone. -Very long wait times in healthcare. Especially if you need surgery. -Very small apartments in big cities, particularly Paris. -Very impractical home layouts, particularly with separate toilet and washroom. Takes a long time to clean. -Racism, particularly by second generation immigrants. -Relatively dirty compared to the rest of Western Europe, at least outside tourist-y areas. -Utterly dysfunctional politics. Macron isn't in office because he was any good. He's in office because he ran against lunatics.
My take on cakes in Germany and Austria was quite the opposite - the selection is fairly small, especially in fresh (unfrozen) department and prices outrageously high.
What an odd building. I'm tempted to make a joke about the architect having smoked too much 'you know what' 😅. I might do a little google search and try to find out more about it! The plan by Sjoerd Soeters incorporates a new hotel. The hotel, which stands on the Provincialeweg, is the new centre’s eye-catcher. The building with 160 rooms and a conference complex will in part be constructed on a viaduct. The colossal, twelve-storey-high hotel tower, essentially square in plan, is a monumental stacking and interpretation of various green-painted house types typical of the Zaan region, ranging from a stately notary’s dwelling to worker’s cottages. ‘The Blue House’, inspired by the work Claude Monet painted at Zaandam in 1871, is the ultimate attention-grabber. The overall result is striking. The varied fenestration, broad protruding sections and bay windows, and decorative white ridge-pieces lend depth and an expressive relief to the façade.
Let's pretend that illegal immigration doesn't have nothing to do or correlate directly with the increasing criminal activities in the main cities across europe, instead you blame europeans for discrimination, xenophobia, (implying r.4c1sm too) etc. 👍 Also i see you are a little bias against southern europe portraying us like some sort of broke and lazy countries, only fit for vacations. 🤨 I am sorry to burst your bubble but some of us only nap during summer days because the heat is unbearable for working during midday. Some people never even take naps, just stereotypical assumptions that doesn't help anyone but those from outside who think they are better than us or something. We are hardworkers, the same as the rest of EU.
If you're from the middle east or Africa you should stay in the middle east and Africa. Europe for the Europeans and Africa for the Africans and obviously the middle east for the Arabs.
those parrors are Rotbandsittiche and they have become a pretty frequently sieht around Cologne ans other parts of the country. They like to fly in larger droves which can be pretty annoying because of all the noise they are making.
I don't get mainland Europeans obsession with trains. As a brit you could make petrol £3 a ltr and public transport free. I would still drive anywhere i cant walk in 10 minutes. Its like don't you like being comfort or privacy.
