I just watched a video from Ugly Truck Experience. They modified a a/c mount so the compressor could be mounted on the right lower side of the engine and it would clear the frame.

I had the stars align & got an 00' with less than 46K on it. The car's similar to myself; Solid on the inside, rough around the edges. Car's had a LOT of sun damage. A LOT. Enjoyed the vid. Confused why you said your "not a professional" blending a C5? Blending paint on ANY vehicle is one of the hardest parts of body work/auto spraying, in my somewhat hands on experienced opinion. All the couch critics these days w/social media will tell you how to do it & they have never held a sprayer, let alone sprayed. Adjusted pressure & don't know what a water separator is. You done DAMN good in my book my Man!!

I was going to have the same problem if I bought Holly Mid mount kit. Plus it was really high for my budget. I actually wound up building my own brackets which put my AC compressor down low.

Adding to tee to the return is the wrong way to do it. When you add a tee the return fluid conflicts or clashes with the other creating a slow return of the pedal back to the up position. The correct way to do this is to have a reservoir with two returns.

I have this same kit in my 70 nova. I would highly recommend getting the headers re-welded and pressure tested. Mine were full of pinholes. Also completely agree on the intercooler setup there's 2 miles of piping, and all of it has clearance issues, I ended up ditching the intercooler they sent me and running something else with no front bumper

I am installing Corbeau RRB reclining seats into my 2001 Z06. I just sold the stock seats for $1000 and ordered the Corbeau seats and brackets for $1237. I highly recommend these seats! I will probably do a video on the fit and what I needed to do to get them installed.

What size was your booth?

I went with the passenger side low mount compressor. Same headers. To get around the spark plug wire issue I ordered some color matched heat shield sock type in order to not cook the wires. I went with eBay “Fapo” brand because they have better spacing on the manifold pipes. Are you using a air to water intercooler?
