This is the only beef I have with Shaq is that he left my guy Penny. The championships would have been spread out differently if Shaq would have stayed and Penny never got hurt.
At least he got one superbowl. The nfl does this routinely with certain types of stars. Marshall, Cam, Barry Sanders, Megaton, etc. If they don't surround them with inferior players, then they hamstring them with inferior coaching. It's funny how Payton Manning bum ass never had that problem.
Love this! It’s wonderful that there’s so many things in common between a true sports person who totally commits to their craft and a true artist creating the best music and visual art. Authenticity, focus and self-belief are supreme. Commercialism needs to be kept totally separate from it. The creative force doesn’t reside in dollars
Milwaukee traded Jrue because he did what they originally got Eric Bledsoe to do better than Eric Bledsoe. That worked 3 years ago when they won a championship, but since then Gianni’s’ game has evolved like Milk outside of the refrigerator. When the playoffs start and the game slows down and you have to be able to create shots in the half court for yourself and your team to get going, Giannis has shown the past 2 1/2 seasons since winning a ring that his game is very one dimensional on the offensive side of the ball. Teams have figured out how to slow him down and force the ball out of his hands. Jrue Holiday isn’t a bad 3 point shooter but, he isn’t always lights out either. The bucks decided that Giannis game was how they were going to win a championship. Jrue has done nothing but evolve into a better shot creator, but that clashes with how Giannis plays the game of basketball. Which I get it. It worked once. Dame and Giannis work together, when they’re used together and I have no clue why they’re not. Dame is used to pull space from the paint away from Giannis. Why on Earth they don’t run the 1 & 5 PR bugs the heck out of me. Giannis just has to get a jump shot and dame needs to ready to take over when he sees that Giannis ain’t got it
She seems cool as hell. Instantly becoming a fan of someone you've never heard of before is a sign of great interviewers too. Sub well earned Edit: Came here from Club520 with Jeff Teague them and bro ET might be the funniest person in the podcast space who isn't actually a comedian
Shaq was instable and sensitive. Immaturity got him tripping. He destroys a legacy. He recognized it. Apologized to Penny during a public documentary 🤦🏾♂️ 😒Penny fairly accepted. Life goes on 🤷🏾♂️
Healthy Penny & Shaq win no less than 5 chips together, sooner than he did with the Lakers & more because they don’t break up for in-fighting with a far more humble teammate in Penny; that said, all reports are that Orlando is & has been consistently mismanaged & s terrible organization so that definitely had to play a part in Shaq departing
