In one line - Stalin's 'modernsation' programme took the nation back to the Stone Age - millions dead from tribal-type killings, genocide of minorities, mass starvation, malnutrion.. millions living off roots and insects. Vast areas of rural Russia are still little different. Even today, academics at left-wing sites such as the LSE, claim the peasant were 'holding up' the modernisation of Soviet agriculture. In truth the incredibly hard working 'peasants', ie best farmers, were exceptionally industrious - and efficient. They had successfully fed Russia from the late 19th century onwards when the population grew rapidly, and successfully through the 20th century's calamities - WW1, Civil War and GPU/NKVD repressions. Once Stalin had murdered or deported the millions of skilled, industrious farmers - all in the most fertile regions and especially Ukraine - FAMINE was the result. Even in the 1990s you could visit these regions and much of it was still stunted in poverty.

It is funny that some people criticise the use of zoom in period dramas for being a modern technique when the camera itself should be out of our minds when watching these fictions. What matters is the action in front of the camera and sound.

I put this one off until I forgot it- so happy to be here right now, Love Henry Miller & Anaïs - as well as nearly every author the pair have introduced me to. I was first introduced to their writing when I was only 10- I knew immediately this had to be considered some of the best writing out there regardless of me not knowing many books then to compare it with besides like Goosebumps and random stuff like that

I think Anais Nin is a fascinating & engaging person. Sadly. she was allowed to become the writer she aspired to be and everything that entailed through the love and support of two husbands. She was open to sexual exploration, but I don't view Anais as liberated. Even her father wound that led to her promiscuity was a kind of bondage.

Serbia's Secret Intelligence owns total responsibility for the assassination. Serbia has been able to skate free of its dastardly conduct for over a century for starting that war. Serbian politicians were cowards in 1914.

The account of the assassination and Serbian involvement does not seem to align with modern books which claim that Serbian extremeist were involved. See 'The War that Ended the Peace' by Margaret Macmillan or 'Catastrophe' by Max Hastings although the overall idea that Germany wasn't aiming for war seems about right.

🔸That lady gets "it", the music and the dance ... 9:20 🔸@ 19:19 I'm thinking: (this man's tone sounds like Nicolas Reyes, the lead singer for the Gypsy Kings) 🔺Everything is: Energy, Vibration, and Frequency, Tesla was absolutely correct.

... and my Espanol is just so muy feyo. But! My Soul knows the Energ8es if the vibe! Theres a History of my Soul's association with the Gypsy Music, there's a knowing of this music, a familiarity that I've come to accept as a Past Life Association. I have a wide range of appreciation for various styles of music. Music was 1 of my majors in High School, but I focused elsewhere in College, (yet Music is a Universal Vibration of Energy) and largely all require it as a part of their life. Considering that I am an Irish American, lineage of County Kerry, Ireland and Basque Origin, born in Chicago, raised in West Tennessee, lived in Nevada for 17 years, "not a great deal of Gypsy Jazz influence going on ..." But once I discovered it and the various styles, it is where I go for a feeling of "Harmony". I place great stock in My Intuition, Clairsentience, and Claircognizance, (Clear Feeling and Clear Knowing) occasional Clairvoyance. Therein lies the greater Reality, Quantum Physics Science is proved this as Fact. My Soul knows ... ✨

"Making nature out of spectacular culture" and "a longing for purity and transcendence, and for fusion with ecstatic and sublime nature". Very well put by the wise and womanly Constance Penley at 6:50. That are two of the deeper collective psycho-social energies, indeed primary collective psychical yearnings, tapped into by the diabolical psychodramatic and psychoanalytic "magicians of Nazi totalitarianism", of which clever and beautiful Leni is a leading princess and technician and extraordinarily gifted exponent. George Steiner is also on point, when he says the arc of energy between her and the Nazi thugs was complete. Hitler saw in her the Valkyrie in whom beauty, courage, elegance, intelligence and violence still endured with an essential feminity. A mirror of the horror and a creator of its charming veneer. Woow. Love andrea

Brilliant film maker with awesome techniques of the day. Triumph of will is an excellent output and there is no reason for her to be coy at admitting it. Cant understand why she was being reviled so much when people like Fritz Hippler who made such toxic films that compared Jews to rats got away scot free. Same is the case with the makers of another movie another movie 'Jude Suss'. Society has been unkind to her.

When they recce someone there, they just diligently accuse that person for that. No matter what would have been the reality and the impacts it laid on that person afterwards. It is not actually the society, but a specific cluster that has fed these preachings in the minds of the rest of social groups. Now, we need to acknowledge what her achievements were and stop being a biased dolt of that dire extent.
