Bought my Phoenix 3 years ago that came with a Marine master trailer. So far I have had to redo 2 wheel bearings, the breaks, and the carpet on a bunk board is already worn through. If your in the market for a new boat and they Marine masters under that brand I highly suggest you add a different brand trailer in your budget. Never thought too much about trailers in the previous boats I owned but, I will never own another one of these even if I have to buy a different brand of boat.
Here I am,almost a year later. I needed to take a moment to say thank you for putting this knowledge out there. All this time that I followed you, learned from you. None of it applied to my fishing conditions. Stilled learned- still learning. I just retired and am moving of all places - Oaklahoma. Long story and much rashing from my buddies. So now I'm going back thru everything I kind of paid attention to ans stuff I thought I knew. Gonna get me something to fish from and something to tow it with. Been a back seater and a bank guy because it's what I could afford. So before I steal every bit of knowledge about what I'm facing A big thanks brother
T-Bird has always been a good lake for bass and crappie. I have caught several 5, 6 and 7 lb bass out of there. Like you said in the video, the mid to north end of the lake has the best population.

What should we do, on the off chance we catch more/better fish than the boat owner and they seem to get angry claiming they should be his fish? I've heard stories about this being an issue on occasion.

I had to comeback and comment again. Those ages line up perfectly with the release of ffs. You cant deny it period. The massive drop in age between 2017 to 2022 would be considered a black swan event. So that means something big happened to cause an extreme change outside of the standard deviation.
I'm sooo happy I tuned into your video today, I was fishing a tournament at Lake of the Ozarks and my trolling motor would not sink to the paddle, I was so frustrated I started to go home but thanks to you and your simple directions I'm a happy fisherman, thank you again and Keep up the good work you do for us lay men

Myself I rather fish from the back of the boat many times I out fished the person that was seating. Or standing on the front of the boat , I feel more relaxed in the rear of the boat !!
Thank you !! I’m 60 years old and yes I’m wanting to want to fish a rest tournament!! I was wondering how the young pros would react to an older guy !! I’ve bass fished my entire life and have only won some local tournaments!! The last thing we want to do is hurt your fishing !! We just want that experience #1 and we or I will help you the best I can ! I’m only 60 but I installed flooring for 35 years so my knees have been replaced!! But just because we’ve had knees replaced doesn’t mean we can’t net a fish !! Us old beat up flooring guys !! We are better laying on a deck netting a fish better than anyone else lol !! Just saying ! When I was working I was fishing Pickwick 4 days a week or nights !! And still put my kids through college!! With no student loans!!

Communication is key. For one thing you are correct in that if you want confrontation fish a creek. The only thing I would have done differently is have an attitude about it. Let’s be real you came at him @50% energy and got right next to him. He was level headed and agreed to your terms. Some people don’t care and if it wasn’t a tourney, they would have potentially jump your boat. It’s always awkward but glad no one got intimate.
Glenn May of bass resource won events from The back of the boat w better casting skills. This helped me develop a good sense of possibility, as a non boater,I am there to contribute, to the boater,and that included a small gearbag containing 3 3700 sized boxes,5 rods or less for my co angler rod pocket,and drinking water,and snacks that we shared the boat cooler for. I would drop my rod and grab the net when the boater would hookup. We would communicate where he was needing the help,and id scoop the fish add the tag,right down the weight,and go right back to fishing .this saved time writing down weights to color coded tags,so culling up was simple and efficient.
