I am a gamer who enjoys Zelda and Mario games but sometimes playing them right can get a little boring. That is why I use glitches and other techniques to liven things up a bit. I am open to suggestions on what to do new videos on so leave your thoughts in the comments!
There's Paper Yoshi: The Thousand Year Door Xd. I think the most broken companion in this state is Bobbery, since you can throw him and when he explodes, open a door, which won't work, but then it will. That causes quite a few things. The most I discovered is that Yoshi can fall from the edges of the map in the western area if he does it in the cat-eared Boo store. Additionally, it is possible to keep the menus active and cause many weirdnesses. Good video :)
Any questions you have about what I have told you, I can solve them for you. Or if that, I have a video with everything. I have discovered 38 oddities with this Glitch xd.
I think what I am going to do is include just the out of bounds with bombery in my next video about ways to go out of bounds. I don’t want to use all of your ideas since you already made a video on them but I appreciate the offer. Since you have told me so many glitches I’ll tell you one I found. If you go in the shop in west rouge port and throw bombery, open the door and talk to the store lady, then the game will shoot you out the store and the game will softlock because you won’t be able to move. Also I subscribed to your channel. Good luck in your RU-vid journey and sorry for such a long comment!😄
Awesome Video! You know there is also dialogue where you tell the Sages you found the The 5th Sage when you go to Rito Village, Goron City, Zora's Domain, and Gerudo Town.
I am glad you liked it, and I actually didn't know about that dialogue so thanks for sharing! Also, I plan on making more Zelda videos when Echos of Wisdom comes out because I know I haven't made any in a while.
I did the glitch at the same time as hitting an enemy, it started the battle but with no music then after finishing the battle it did the text storage as normal. Wasn't able to replicate it
I discovered something fun and new using this trick. Go to twilight trail, in the area right before the creepy steeple. You have to perform the glitch near the hole in the ground that takes you to the background. So, as soon you perform the glitch, drop into the hole and hold A (before the text box finishes) to activate your spring jump. If done correctly, you should then be in the background and ms mowz will be there too. She'll act all glitchy and you can even push her and hammer her. Sadly not much else can be done, not even swapping partners.
@@GlitchyGaming-om8bc no problem 😁 I also noticed that u can jump before the text box finishes but for some reason its rly short. Something i forgot to mention is that you dont let go of A for the spring jump until you also rotate the left stick a bunch of times.
I wonder if you could use this in the area where Cortez's ship was, then when you try to go back to the previous area it doesn't load and maybe you can glitch out of bounds. If you could, maybe you could scroll the screen farther to the right to see what it looks like (although I'm sure it's just more water followed by a black void.)
Thanks for putting those that I told you about :D, by the way, I have discovered more tricks with this Glitch: 1: It is possible to access the front of the train in chapter 6 before defeating the bosses, I think it is the only way to get there xd, since later, the Toad blocking the warehouse will not be removed from there. 2: In chapter 6, there is a scene with some bugs on the train on the third day. Thanks to the Glitch, you can get past those enemies and get into the area where the Phantom Toad's diary was. If you save one of the two toads (using Bobbery from the box, since otherwise he won't get the bugs out, and before it explodes, you turn to paper and get between the boxes, In the next cinematic Mario will appear in the air, like in a Color Splash Glitch. 3: Thanks to what I told you that it is possible to skip cinematics with this Glitch, it is possible to skip the fight against the Shadow Trio (the second in chapter 8), this being the second method discovered. 4: In the coliseum, activating the fights, doing the Glitch and keeping the text on the screen (rolling) will cause the game to softlock when the door opens. This can be recorded since it does not freeze, xd. In case I discover more things I'll tell you :D
TTYD on Switch is a remaster, not a remake. This glitch alone proves it. Text storage exists on Gamecube with some identical results, proving all Nintendo did was update the old code instead of programming from scratch a new game.
this makes no sense because yeah obviously they would be similar it’s the same game but text storage is activated completely differently in the original + also it’s very apparent majority of things were completely made from scratch
I think I only had two power pluses equipped at the time. I just charged Mario for 30 minutes until it got to 99 and said “you charged, but nothing happened!”
99 times(so actually 50)! I charged until it told me “you charged, but nothing happened!”. It took like half an hour so I don’t recommend doing it yourself
I have discovered three interesting things (for now, and I don't know if anyone discovered what I'm going to say now): 1: Text can be duplicated more than once. To do this you have to activate the Glitch and make Mario start rolling. When you press A to make Mario jump, it will sound like the text has passed but it will still be on the screen, allowing us to do the Glitch again. As a curiosity about this first result, as we duplicate the text many times the text itself will become darker and the shadow will increase. Also, it seems like the game lags a bit if we duplicate it thirty times. 2: In the previous video you said that the camera glitched a lot (When from the alley we go to the central square, what made the camera stay that way), but what I don't know if you know is that entering the Rogueport store (in the center), and leaving again will cause the camera to get stuck. The only way to solve this is to return to the alley, although it is quite difficult since you can't see anything except the structure of the store. As an added bonus, the bandit's house in the downtown alley (where in the original one of the best-known censors came from) will once again cause the camera to get stuck in place. Unlike the previous one, there is a small vision of Mario, but the further we move we will no longer have it. Other places, like the medal shop, seem to have no effect. 3: Curiously, checking the lottery with the text on the screen will cause the game to crash. I suppose it is because it is an event that has to do with the console time or I don't know. I could make a video of the first two, because I can't make the third one since, as we know, the Nintendo Switch does not allow when the game crashes. I don't know if you will make a video with the results we tell you, but here are the ideas, xd. If we keep finding things, in the end we will find a way to get Flavio for the rest of the game (as I said in your other video) and, also, possibly we will find a way to get the "invalid items" that could be obtained on the Gamecube with the Flurrie Glitch. Sorry for so much text, I like to explain so that it is understood. When I discover more things I will tell you :D
@@GlitchyGaming-om8bc Since I discovered the Glitch thanks to your channel, I was sure that it was going to cause a lot of random things. But thank you very much :D
As a small addition, it seems that cutscenes that are not linked to an area change can be skipped. I say this, because, trying the Glitch in chapter 5, I was able to skip the cinematic that exists before reaching the grotto, in which Flavio stops being in our group. Unfortunately, How do we know, we need Flavio's gem to advance :( But nothing happens, we continue investigating and that's it :D By the way, never get any items with the Glitch active because the game will freeze after pressing A.
New glitch found! If you do the thing to get rid of the a prompt by rolling into a ball and pressing a with text storage active, for some reason specifically hammering the battle master toad disables it. Hammering other npcs does not cancel it.
If you activate text storage, go into battle by rolling into a tube, defeat the enemy and upon defeat the enemy drops a badge and you pick it up, the game crashes. I would upload a video with footage of this, but the switch doesn’t let you take a video after the game crashes sadly
I found another glitch with this! If you activate text storage, walk into an enemy and go into the paper tube form to start the battle and you defeat the enemy and it drops a badge and you pick up the badge with text storage active, it crashes the game
It turns out that obtaining any item crashes the game with text storage enabled I found. Just enable text storage, roll into ball, press a, and collect any item. Easiest way is to cook something. It needs to be an item that upon obtaining, opens text
@@sonicatyt1082 Ok, I just tried it out and it works! Thanks! Something weird I noticed was that I didn’t go back to the last save and it took me back to the scene when you return to Rougeport after beating the game. That might just be a me thing though because I finally decided to make myself finish today
@@GlitchyGaming-om8bcI didn’t know you could return to that scene. That’s really interesting. Maybe this could be used as a sequence break to skip some of the end game stuff?
Cool video! I’ve been experimenting with the glitch as well. I’ve found that you can skip the chapter 8 shadow sirens fight. I also found that you can crash the game by performing text storage, performing the tube ability, and running into any item in the field (like a star piece, badge, or a regular item). I’m sure there’s more stuff that can be skipped! Oh, there’s also a graphical glitch that occurs if you perform text storage at the top of Hooktail’s castle and then walk down the spiral.
@@GlitchyGaming-om8bc No worries! Another one you might find interesting is the following: In east Rogueport, go through the gap in the wall to get to the backside of the trouble center building. Perform text storage. Use the paper thin ability again and go back to the "front." You'll notice that the camera hasn't changed. Now, make your way to the back area to the left of the partner upgrade house. This will seemingly fix the camera, but once you leave that section of the map, you'll see that it's super glitchy. If you walk towards the pipe leading to the sewers, the camera will disconnect from Mario and act really weird. I haven't seen anyone report on this, so it could be cool to feature!
2:01 you can make this part easier by doing the glitch as you hit the block. Like hitting hit her 2 times then x, a when u hit a block (Heart block, save block)
Miss Mowz can also fly using anything that puts mario into a small cutscene like the red buttons in creepy steeple or any health boxes (it could work for shine boxes, but I can't test it unless I make a new save)
